Worst Vertuo Option

This is my 3rd Vertuo machine and I hate it. The biggest problem is how difficult it is to close properly - you have to push down hard and twist withough shoving the machine across the counter. Other problems include how little water the tank holds and how few capsules can be collected before requiring disposal. The amount of coffee produced varies from cup to cup (despite using the same type of capsule) as well. I regret this purchase and have switched to making regular brewed coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Nespresso is awesome! The coffee tastes so much better than I expected, and it's ready in just a couple of minutes. I love that I can make a hot coffee in the morning or an iced coffee when I'm in the mood for one. It's super easy to use, doesn't take up much space, and makes me feel like I'm treating myself without having to stop at a coffee shop. Definitely one of my favorite purchases, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's on the fence about getting one!

It makes my daily iced coffee routine so easy, fast, and unbelievably good—it literally tastes like I bought it at a coffee shop every single morning. It fits perfectly on my counter, brews in seconds, and the espresso comes out super rich with that perfect layer of froth right over ice. Making amazing iced drinks at home has never been this simple. 10/10 recommend!

< Year Old Machine Malfunctions Daily

I bought this machine 10 months ago (for personal use about 1-2x a day most days of the week). About 5 month into owning the machine, it started regularly malfunctioning (flashing red and sputtering out / not working after a few seconds of producing coffee). No amount of descaling or physically cleaning the machine corrected the issue. I encounter the same issue almost every time I use the machine. I have to constantly fiddle with it, un-plug it / re-plug it back in, and wipe down every component of the machine every time I try to use it in the hope it will produce coffee about 50% of the time. I will be replacing the machine with a different model as I was deeply dissatisfied with this purchase. I recommend NOT buying this model if you are debating between a few.
