Great Design with One Oversight

I've liked SOG's geared-plier designs since they first came out. My main complaint has been that the non-pliers tools were awkward to get out. Not only were they on the wrong sides of the handles, but in most cases you had to open a cover as well. The PowerAccess finally addresses that by putting all of the tools on the outside of the handles when closed for direct access.
The oversight is that there is just no convenient way to open most of the tools. Only the outermost tool on one side of each handle has a "thumb nick". The others are almost impossible to get at without working your way inward one-at-a-time. Even then, the bottle opener is a pain to pull out.
Adding nail nicks and offsetting tools so that they can be opened individually takes some serious design effort, but a lot of companies, including SOG have done it before. I can't imagine why they didn't do it for this tool.
Despite the oversight, this is still an excellent tool.

I like SOG products, but was disappointed it didn't come with a belt pouch, no handle guards when using wire cutters, the other tools are a bit to get open to use,but again quality is great

Great EDC multi tool

This is the first SOG multi tool that I have owned. I've owned several other brands of multi tool but this is my favorite EDC. The locking mechanism is a but tricky to use one handed but other than that it's a great slim multi tool. My only problem is the belt clip bent out about 1/8 of an inch and I'm not sure what to use to remove the screw that attaches it to the housing.
