Because I have degenerative disc disease I knew the most important type of exercise I could do is core-strengthening. My sister has used a pilates reformer under supervision of her Physical Therapist for years and she strongly recommended it. Being able to purchase a reformer for use in my home is the best solution to my needs! The video is very easy to follow and since I’ve begun using it my core strength has improved noticeably. I’m very pleased with my purchase!

My wife loves it. Does the level 1 workout every day and loves how it feels. My only quibble, as I’ve been doing it, is that trying to keep up with the video the first few times is hard....you have to stop and start and rewind the DVD constantly to get the positions right...and I hurt my back pretty good insodoing. I know it’s an unrealistic request, but a starter video that takes longer to explain the transitions for the first 5-10 workouts.

Not too bad to put together and was surprised at the quality. I get a great workout and love all the features. The only cons are the wheels dont glide quite as smoothly as I would like and I wish it came with color coded bands. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this product!

I purchased the AeroPiulates to improve my strength and to ease my lower back pain. I am delighted to say that it has helped me do both. I have used Pilates in the past but found it difficult to get to the classes at the gym. Having one at home is so much easier. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a gentle way to improve their strength and posture.

It’s only been little under a month, since I purchased my reformer and I’m soo happy about my purchase. I love that the impact on my joints are not painful. I’ve tried Pilates & Yoga, and they’re great practices. However, not very nice on the joints. I’m looking forward to getting the weight loss results from my reformer.

I bought my reformer back in December. I love the fact that I can workout at home without spending so much money in the studio. There are two things that I am not so happy about. One is the amount of time it takes to change the foot bar to the trampoline. One of the knobs is harder to screw on to the tube due to the missallignment of the openings on the trampoline feature. It’s bothersome. The other one is one of the ropes and its pulley. I constantly have to adjust the length of one of the ropes and the pulley is quite noisy. For some reason the knott doesn’t hold well and the length keeps changing, which you know is not good for the exercises. I have to fix it several times during the workout. Quite bothersome. Perhaps it comes with the price. The other rope is just fine. The machine itself is strong and nice looking. I am happy with the purchase, since that’s what I could afford.

This reformer is decent for the price. It is certainly not studio quality, but then those machines are also much pricier. One of the wheels on the carriage was flawed, causing the carriage to bump over that side. I did contact Stamina, and they sent four new replacement wheels, plus the link to a video with instructions as to how to replace a wheel. The two workout videos did not work, and I contacted Stamina, and they sent two more videos, which didn't work either.
They have since sent two more (third set), and these do not work either.
Reading reviews from other people, I see that this is an ongoing problem.
Apparently these videos are recorded in China? If Stamina is going to include free videos with their product, I strongly suggest that these videos be made in North America. It is costing the Stamina company money every time they send replacement videos, only to be advised again that they DON'T work.
The fellow at Stamina was very courteous,and he stated that he had tried the videos before he sent them????? I do attend Pilates classes; so I do have some knowledge regarding Pilates exercises, but it would have been nice if the videos had worked. I was considering ordering more videos related to this machine, but I won't be doing that now.
I have ordered red and yellow cords for more variation.
I think that if I had more room, I would have purchased the 557 reformer.
It appears to be much better quality, and has springs, not cords. I think that because this machine folds there will always be a slight bumping motion, because there is
a gap in the metal railings to allow the machine to be folded.
Overall it is decent for the price.
