I am 71 and bought this in preparation for climbing Machu Picchu. I have a bad back and have been in physical therapy and yoya also. My cousin told me about this Pilates exercise machine. Ordered on line. My husband put it together and put it in our bedroom. It is convenient and easy to use with the included DVD. I plan to order the next level DVD soon. It is really helping my core. Oh, just got back from climbing Machu Picchu with my family!!! Yes, I am recommending this to friends. Thanks

This is a solid machine for home use. I'm not a big fan of the 'bump' that happens when the second set of roller wheels crosses the mid-line on the rails. This happens most often while jumping out using straps on feet. I wish it was a little smoother. It's also an adjustment using the tension cords instead of springs and determining the best ones for different exercises. I've done Pilates on studio reformers for years, so I'm a little extra picky. Other than that, I've enjoyed having a machine at home during quarantine and use it about 5-6x a week. Great workout every time!

I LOVE it! It’s a great for me to start with instead of those for thousands of dollars. It’s compact & sleek enough for me to keep it on its stand in my living room. It wasn’t too difficult to put it together with a You Tube video. It slides very smoothly...I’m very happy with this purchase.

I did not know there were different models of the AeroPilates Premier Series 700. I received product 55-4700B which does not have the rope length adjustment loops on the sides of the platform. Other than that, everything else is the same and wonderful.

Good for some basic reformer moves but the rebounder doesn’t fit securely In the slot. It still works but it’s a defect. Also the whole machine shifts when you rebound using more than one band- and I’m a slim woman. If I were not petit this thing would literally travel across the room in three jumps. I can’t figure out how to shorten the straps so that they stay. You have to hold onto the ends and it burns your hands. It’s Not the worst machine but priced about 300 more than it should be.

It's an okay beginner level reformer, but it has a bumpy ride and the ropes squeak after only a couple of months. The stand made a lot of noise until I put rubber washers in each of the slots as recommended by another reviewer. I wouldn’t recommend this reformer unless you don’t have the space and need to fold it. I leave mine out and wish I had purchased one that does not fold because I don’t like the bumpy ride.

I have had this model for several years now. I go periods of time without using it due to my schedule. I have recently started back. I always ask myself why...why do I stop using it? This is hands down the best piece of workout equipment I've ever had. Its easy and fun. It is truly effective and I have fibromyalgia which is the reason I bought it to begin with. When I use it, it doesn't hurt and I get lean and flexible. Love this machine!!

This reformer is decent for the price. It is certainly not studio quality, but then those machines are also much pricier. One of the wheels on the carriage was flawed, causing the carriage to bump over that side. I did contact Stamina, and they sent four new replacement wheels, plus the link to a video with instructions as to how to replace a wheel. The two workout videos did not work, and I contacted Stamina, and they sent two more videos, which didn't work either. They have since sent two more (third set), and these do not work either. Reading reviews from other people, I see that this is an ongoing problem. Apparently these videos are recorded in China? If Stamina is going to include free videos with their product, I strongly suggest that these videos be made in North America. It is costing the Stamina company money every time they send replacement videos, only to be advised again that they DON'T work. The fellow at Stamina was very courteous, and he stated that he had tried the videos before he sent them????? I do attend Pilates classes; so I do have some knowledge regarding Pilates exercises, but it would have been nice if the videos had worked. I was considering ordering more videos related to this machine, but I won't be doing that now. I have ordered red and yellow cords for more variation. I think that if I had more room, I would have purchased the 557 reformer. It appears to be much better quality, and has springs, not cords. I think that because this machine folds there will always be a slight bumping motion, because there is a gap in the metal railings to allow the machine to be folded. Overall it is decent for the price.
