Good product, but horrible software. Ended up returning to look for a 450!
The Dymo Connect software is terrible! We have used Dymo label Writers since 2007, they have always been integrated with our Medical Record software, we had to replace a 400 as it was no longer supported within our EMR.
I am now looking for a used 450 so that we do not have to use Dymo Connect. Hopefully Dymo will go back to previous versions and see what works.

It simply wont work. Doesnt matter what i try, how many times i turn it off and on, NOTHING.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

•Which version of the operating system are you running?

Gets the job done but not really special

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I felt like this did the job of being able to create custom labels. However, installation was pretty annoying. Downloading the software took a lot of time and putting the labels through so that the machine detected them and fed it through the slot was not as straightforward as it could’ve been. I appreciated that you could put text and photos on the labels and that the package came with 2 smaller rolls of labels already. Overall, it did the job, and once set up was done, it was easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the DYMO label/writer 550 a few days ago and set it up in my office. This thing was a breeze to set up right out of the box. No instructions needed. As someone who has a very stressful corporate job dealing with a bunch of wanks, this actually saves me a lot of time with printing tags for name and address instead of hand writing it in every envelope that has to go out! I seriously cannot believe I did not consider one of these sooner. I highly recommend this!

It’s super cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was a bit tedious but not too difficult. I love the fact there’s no ink required not too happy with the fact it has to be hard wired to the computer seeing as though we’re in 2024 so Wi-Fi should have been an option or would be much convenient. You have to download the app from the website instead of an App Store but other than the usage being out dated the device is very cool and once you get the hang of it it’s really a fun little device just wish it was imperative to have it plugged in.

Easy and fun

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who ships frequently or even someone who mails a lot of things (wedding invitations, Christmas cards, etc.). This is so much easier than writing out addresses and is quick to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dymo labelwriter 550 Turbo is an excellent label printer. Prints fast and looks great! I love this little machine. It prints great! There's many different labels you can use with this but I really like the size that came with it! I love that you can change the font and size of letters! I highly recommend this s to all small business! Its a lifesaver I use mine for price tags, shipping labels, and even labeled inside my fridge and pantry.
