Review for Samsung Z Fold 6
I recently purchased the Samsung Z Fold 6, but I ended up returning it. The front screen is still too small, which made it difficult to use comfortably for everyday tasks. When comparing the Z Fold 6 to my previous S24 Ultra, the cost doesn't seem justified. For the price they're asking, there should be no compromises, yet the Z Fold 6 feels like a downgrade in many aspects.
The only advantage is the larger screen when unfolded, but even then, my tablet offers a superior experience. For those considering the Z Fold 6, I'd suggest weighing the cost and features carefully, especially if you're coming from a device like the S24 Ultra. It just didn't meet my expectations for a flagship device at this price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's an upgrade, but not as much as it should be

I moved from the Fold4 to Fold6. There are significant improvments between the two. The biggest being the ability to swap between open and closed screens. The Fold4 sucked at this and reset whatever you were looking at between the two. It acted as two completely different phones from little to big screen and back. The fold 6 does not. It clearly and smoothly swaps between front and inner screens without issue. The next biggest difference is smoothness of the UI. The fold4 was always a bit jerky, while the 6 is super smooth and crystal clear. Lowlights are screen size. What they claim in difference is negligable in hand. Honestly, the 6 feels smaller than the 4 for the wrong reasons. It needs to be 1/2" taller and wider when closed from the current size to be the right sized phone. Also, I don't welcome the squared edges, because they are sharp and uncomfortable to hold. I do like the faux carbon fiber of the black color this year. Still wish there was a gray model with the carbon look. Battery is identical, but drains faster on the 6. Great phone if you are coming to a foldable, but not much change if you are upgrading. Enough for 4 to 6, but probably not 5 to 6.

I love it. I upgraded from the fold 4 and it's a huge jump. It's so much faster and lighter. The screen is way better and more responsive. I'd suggest getting a case that has hinge protection because I've broken my inside screen a few times from dropping it.

Good enough phone but samsung is not great. Like all major companies when you get down to it. They're not pushing the envelope. AI was marketed so hard and it is a temporary feature that will switch to a paid feature? Great.
