I am coming from an S22+ so the new model has great battery life and awesome display. I did looked at other manufacturers but Samsung has the smoothest OS.
Its a bit cumbersome and clunky than it needs to be. i miss the ease and simplicity of my S9. I spend more time turning crapware off on this phone than i do using it. Just want a mobile camera, text machinem, phone, and light computer for those rare moments.... don't need a bunch of additional bells and whistles let alone some AI/Bixby minion riding shotgun
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The phone is amazing and I couldn't be happier. The quality and speed and functionality is better than any other phone I've ever had, including newer models of other brands. And galaxy AI is just absolutely amazing.
Great phone. Battery lasts a long time. Some times i get 3 days if I don't use it too much. The ultra fast charge is fantastic and charges way fast for the size of battery.
I love the S25+ its an amazing phone with great features and an excellent camera. So glad I exchanged the S25 for the S25+! I got the Cora Red & its beautiful!
