i DID as many others on here, but the trimmer/blower compact system with 1 battery. I also purchased a cordless drill of this system that came with a battery. So I have 2. It doesnt help though because the batteries only last for about 15 minutes on trimmer and blower. Very frustrating. What kind of JOKE is this ????? My review is off the batteries only, haven't got a chance to see effectiveness/durability of trimmer/blower. Too busy waiting for batteries to recharge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It tells you right on the side that it's a low Ah!

So many reviews complain about how long it lasts and how weak it is inc say, a wee eater. But it says ON THE BATTERY that it's weak, people! It tells you RIGHT THERE that it is capable of providing 1.5 (A)mperes per (h)our. Learn about what you use and you won't be surprised! Buy a 2.5 Ah if this one don't last long enough for your tasks.

No battery tools

I purchased the weed whip & combo package of drill/hammer drill. I'm down to 1 battery now that the others won't recharge; red flagging light. So now I ponder what to do with all this before the last battery fails. By the way, they're within the 2 year warranty, which I was told from the purchase store doesn't include the batteries. I'll walk past B & D from now on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor battery life

Wish I had read reviews. I bought the combo pack because of the brand sorry I did. I finally bought a corded trimmer. Don't waste your money.

Brand new sander and battery

I have a brand new Black & Decker hand sander and brand new battery. I used it for the first time yesterday and was only able to sand about 10 minutes before the battery completely died and needed to be recharged. I let it charge all night long and then today until 4 PM. I just tried to use it again, and the battery was completely dead after 12 1/2 minutes. It’s going to take me a very long time to get this job done…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery never used- won’t charge!

Got a whole kit with electric drill as a present a few years ago. I have not used the drill until I needed it now. The battery (although never used) is not charging. All I get is red blinking light indicating the bad battery… How is that possible w a battery that has never been even used?! Saw there was a 2 year limited waranty, but it’s been about one extra year… That’s very frustrating.

Great drill, terrible battery

As others have said, the battery is an issue. I bought a drill, used it once and loved it. I needed it yesterday and the battery is bad. The replacement costs about as much as the drill did in the first place.
