Awful battery life!!!

This battery should be removed from the market and replaced with something that actually works. It lasts barely 10-15 minutes on mild trimming and edging, then dies and has to charge again for 5 hours. It took me 2 days off and on to trim the edges of my lawn.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These batteries may get 10-12mins of usage even at full charge.
I’m totally baffled as to why such insufficient batteries would be ever be designed (to begin with) for an outdoor power equipment tool. B&D needs to become more mindful and help eliminate more trash to our landfills because this is where millions of these batteries end up.

Battery Piece of Junk

I bought the small blower with chargable battery to for my yard after debating to buy one. Now, I wish I had spend the money for a gas blower because this battery does charge after use for several months.

Average 15 minute run time!I don't have a spare battery so it take's me 3 day's to trim my yard.Ridiculous

I wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing because they are true. A fully charged battery lasted about 15-20 minutes. I got half way around the fence in my not very large back yard. SHAME ON BLACK AND DECKER FOR EVEN SELLING THIS. You had to know in testing this was an issue.

I have the black n decker less than year, bought extra batteries, five total, not one will work, they will not hold charge, takes days to recharge and only last about 10-15, minutes, now have five batteries and not one will work

Short life

The first on I bought lasted almost two years using only 30 minutes or less once a week. The second one I’ve had for a year and now does not totally recharge. Last about five minutes on a small B&D blower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
