Poor Business-Bad product

Bought two batteries they lasted 5 charges. Bad business selling product like this. I can't trust Black and Decker so I'll no longer be buying any of there product's.

Just Throw Them Away Now....

These don't last. Not only short lived battery life when using a piece of equipment but after a few years, the battery won't even hold a charge. We have 3 of them that we use for a leaf blower and batteries are junk.

Battery horrible

Works great except for battery. Just bought mine yesterday. Have a pretty good size yard and wanted something light and easy to use. Like this weed eater but the battery is horrible. I used both batteries and don’t think I even got 15 minutes out of each of them. At this rate it would take me all week to do my yard then it would be time to start all over. Probably will be returning this item. Ashame because I like the weed eater just not the batteries.

Reconditioning old Lithium batteries

I had bought several Lithium batteries over many years and I have.To honest, I lost quite a bit of money running back and forth to the store.
I finally found out about battery reconditioning.
so I got online and checked it out for myself.
I could not believe that the solution to fully restoring power into all my dead batteries has been under my nose the entire time.
I finally buckled under curiosity and got the instructional step by step instructional guide. The amount of money I saved was significant given how many times I used to run to the store every year.
please consider battery reconditioning. It is a pleasure to spread the good news and help others in the same ordeal.
I am not an expert, just a very happy consumer that found a better way.

Great batteries, work as expected for many years

Had these for years and years, used them in drills, a flashlight, the trimmer and hedge trimmer. Batteries last as long as stated by B&D even years later there is minimal loss, never had 1 defect in 8+ years.
I don't get all these cry baby reviews about small capacity batteries not lasting long on high powered garden tools, you don't see anyone grabbing a Milwauklee blower or trimmer and crying when their small 2.0 ah battery doesn't last. No one in their right mind would even pretend to assume a small battery would last long but someone you all do?? That's what the bigger batteries exist for, It's called common sense...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery Life

Bought the cordless sander with battery included to sand stairs, was only able to get 2 stair treads completed before the battery died. My husband used it the next day, and he could only do 2 stair treads. Absolutely a waste of money!

15 Minutes of Run Time

I purchased my first B&D string trimmer several years ago. The battery that came with it worked about 20 minutes. My husband bought a B&D cordless drill and it came with a battery that I used to get more of my yard completed. Fast forward to 2019. I have replaced both the trimmer and drill. I purchased extra batteries (I have 5 total). None of the batteries work longer than 15 minutes. It takes me two days to completely trim and edge our lawn. Charge time is at least 8 hours. I would not purchase again. B&D needs to work on a better product, especially for the cost. It would be nice if they offered to replace batteries for free if the batteries have been purchased less than 2 years ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
