Batteries are Junk

I purchased the B&D trimmer last fall and am already looking to get something else.... because these batteries literally last 10 minutes at the most and then need to be charged for hours for them to last another 10 mins. Do not waste your time or money with this product. It's junk.

Hello, your feedback is valuable as we consider every piece of feedback we come across. Please be advised string trimmers, blowers and mowers require a lot of energy so the runtime will be short. A higher Ah/Amps battery will provide a longer runtime. If you have other BLACK+DECKER 20V batteries the can, be used as well. The model BDCAC202B is a fast charger and rates the LBXR20 to charge in 45 minutes.

Awesome product!

I bought a trimmer, blower combo and a drill that each came with a battery about 20 years ago. I also bought an extra battery with a charger about 18 years ago. The 20 year old batteries have just now stop holding a charge, and the 18 year old one is still going strong. I am going to be getting a couple more replacement batteries soon. Highly recommend. Batteries out lasted the trimmer by a few years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Breaks after very little usage

Light usage with a B&D drill. After a few months of not using the battery, it will no longer charge - flashing red light whenever it's plugged in.

Brand New Battery. Not Charging.

Just purchased the 20vMax Black and Decker Sweeper which included this battery. Tried multiple outlets and the battery pack is flashing red and not charging at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So disappointed. Black & Decker what happened?!

I just opened my black and decker matrix drill and tool combo set for the first time and went to charge my batteries and BOTH are blinking red super fast and say they are bad batteries!! I haven’t even gotten to use it one time!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Drill with this battery in it runs long enough to sink 1 - 2 3” long #6 screws then dies. Reseat battery and drill does another 1 - 2 screws.
