These are a great way to protect your cameras especially on public lands. There are too make thief’s that want to snatch what’s not theirs. This just helps them!

Some issues for my use with Pro and AUX battery

This is a good product for most people but I have 2 issues. 1. When using an external battery pack with my Reveal 3. 0 pro camera there’s no way to open and close the door covering the display on the camera while it’s in the box and there’s no way to keep it plugged in to the AUX battery getting it in and out of the box. So how are you supposed to set the camera up with the door open and then get it to working mode without unplugging the camera to shut the display door? At least with my Reveal X (no display) I could set the camera up in setup mode, unplug it, take the camera out of the security box, switch it to “run” mode and close the camera door (to cover the setup switches), put the camera back in the security box, and plug it back in…. The Pro camera you can’t do it that way because of the push buttons. 2nd issue the antenna “protector” is just plastic. I have black bears that constantly are getting my cameras and they’re going to bite that off easily. It woul be nice if there was another antenna slot in the bottom of the box to keep the antenna in the down position for those of us that have good enough cellular reception to avoid the antenna from being damaged.

i got a x pro camera, and bought a security box only to find out the antenna is not protected at all, so in other words bear can eat my antenna not real happy picture shows antenna guard but not for my camera so i give this one star, for not telling the truth

Good, but could easily be improved.

The box does what it was intended for; however, it is impossible to place camera inside box with antenna in the downward position. Adding a cutout slot to the bottom of the box for the tip of the antenna would allow for this and would also protect the antenna better than the flimsy plastic piece on top of the box (for those areas with better cellular reception which would allow downward antenna position).

Great product however I do have a camera that stopped taking pictures so that is why I replaced it with the 3. 0 pro so I do need to send it back so maybe some help in that area would be helpful

It does a good job securing the camera from animals. Humans, if they are determined to vandalize your camera, still can, but if you secure it with a lock through the box, can’t take it.
