Please don't make the same mistake I did with going the RAZR route. The screens are extremely fragile. I got the RAZR for 2 people in my family and my is completely broken and the other is having screen problems Like flickering and peeling. The first month I contacted Support.bevause there was small peeling. I was told that wasn't replaceable through the warranty. I just got use to seeing the spots on my screen until it failed completely. That was a week after my warranty expired. Life long Motorola customer with the exception one phone. This will be my last.

Was a nice, NOW not so good! Worst purchase!

New purchase in October 2024. Thought about trying android for a little while.
Pros: upon new phone arrival-screen is protected, fast and quick uploads and downloads, has a lot of storage and different types of wallpapers, versatile apps and more control of thematics of phone features.
Con: after a few drops and about countless times of overheating. A lot of phone usage video and tv usage. The phone has gone black. The screen started with a white line. Detachment of the screen to mother board, and blackness screen slowly reaching the bottom of the screen. The lack of detachment does not allow for connection and can only utilize the outside of the screen when phone flipped for access. And that is limited access. Cannot get into a lot of my apps due to only being part of android razr. I did not purchase the warranty nor cannot return it since it is almost dead or practically dead. If I want to repair the screen to gain connection it be worth the exact same purchase of the phone. And yes I did have the phone in a protection case. FYI: once it hits the hinge if the phone at anytime if owning this phone; your phone will start to deteriorate and will eventually get the line down the middle and black hole detachment. Lastly, the phone is very delicate. Not what you’d want if you do work hard or are very hard on electronics. Also last last, the phone loses service in moments of dead zone places. Does not convert to 4G or other. Will drop all service until dead zone is passed. That includes when using maps and on android auto. That will go fast. Also android auto is very temperamental. Not reliable. I also had to purchase an attachment to connect my razr phone to car. If the car component does not link up, it is going to not work a you will lose service for at least 10-30 min. Then you will have to use your phone in hopes of the maps working using some random lte or 4G service if at all. Do not buy this phone as an android. Get Samsung instead. FYI: They are made also by Apple and more reliable!! Motorola was the leading cellular phone in its time. Too bad they no longer live up to the hype!
I gave it two stars because I liked the brand and I liked the flip design!

Not just a gimmick for a cool phone!

The outer screen is fun and useful, though the limitation of set apps is annoying, still very cool functionality. Phone is fast and responsive and just in general very neat. A+ for the price, in my opinion. I was worried about the battery with having two screens but it makes no difference than any other phone, my battery has lasted 2 days without charging with infrequent use.

Poor quality

I bought this phone ~6 months ago & I've had to have the screen repaired 3 times now. Each time, costing me money to avoid being without a phone for a week or more. The screen is just the lowest quality I've EVER experienced. Extremely disappointed

I like that this is compact. When it's open, you can feel the crease, but doesn't really affect the picture

I bought this phone mid March, I had issues with delivery and just got my phone mid April. I am very happy with the phone and I love the color...but it had some issues when in use like (i) slowing down while using some apps, (ii) issues with headphones, voices not heard sometimes, (iii) issues sometimes with the display on small screen
Response from motorola.comBy Mitch, Motorola Customer Care, May 27, 2025

HORRIBLE! DO NOT BUY!!!
on November 18, 2025

I got this phone only a few months ago and I am extremely disappointed. I dropped it ONCE and the large screen immediately cracked at its hinge. I am unable to replace it since the warranty does not cover these kinds of issues. I also cannot afford another phone so yes screw you Motorola razr. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. IF IT CAN NOT HANDLE ONE SMALL DROP THAT IS A BAD SIGN.
