I purchased the entire system (delta Pro plus 2 batteries) including the smart generator. I am impressed with the capacity, but very disappointed that I am not able to use the smart generator with both batteries hooked up. I have to physically disconnect 1 of the extra batteries to be able to use the smart generator. Consequently the second extra battery does not get charged. This to me is not a complete stand alone system! I may as well could have saved the cost of the smart generator and use one of my Honda 1000 to charge the main unit and the 2 batteries, since I have to manually switch plugs. This is a 10k purchase and i am very disappointed in not being able to use the smart generator on the entire system!
I received my delta pro from kickstarter campaigned. Used it as ups for my home network rack which powers 200w of network equipment (router, PoE access points, PoE cameras etc, plus cooling fans). During a power outage in the neighborhood, my unit stopped working and showed some error codes. EcoFlow was very quick to help and send me a replacement unit. Never had issues since. Have the smart home panel too, but that still needs to be installed.
I bought the Delta Pro for my elderly brother that can be used for his medical equipment in case of a power outage. I bought recommended solar panels to keep the unit charged. The app is great for this device to monitor the system. Now I am not worried about not having power for my brothers medical equipment.
I purchased two Eco flow Delta Pro units for backup power. We live rural and several times a year are power goes down. Each Delta Pro is mounted in a wagon which gives me options to move them around the property to different buildings. We've had the units several months now and sure enough our power went down for 6 hours. These Delta Pro units kept three freezers and two refrigerators going strong during the outage. Worth every penny to have this backup power available. Thanks, Eco flow!
For those of us in the music industry, besides your music gear, your Tour Bus is the single most important part of your life while on the road - and access to POWER is a huge concern while on the go and at gigs. And in the world of Prevost Tour Buses, even though they are considered the zenith of the range, the converters making them have been VERY slow to adopt Lithium battery tech. So we took it upon ourselves to do a total electrical system conversion in ours using the Delta Pro(s) as the heart and soul.
There used to be a time when running rooftop AC units on battery power was a pipe dream, but not any longer! We're able to run 3 AC units AT ONCE with our two Delta Pro units and a single smart extra battery (we really wish we had more smart extra batteries!). When combined with the 3960 Watts of solar panels being installed on the roof of the Tour Bus we'll be using both of the DPro's 1600 watt input MPPT charge controllers to soak in all that juice and become very nearly 100% OFF-GRID in our home away from home without ever having to touch the giant diesel generator in the underbay!
To add, we've been invovled in a HUGE renovation of our Prevost, and having the Delta Pro's to power the coach while working within (the generator was shipped away for nearly a year during this process) has been a HUGE help too! They power all of our tools and run AC units at the same time letting us work inside and out without ever skipping a beat!
I did a lot of research before purchasing the Delta pro. First off, I realized that a solar generator was clearly the way to go for back up emergency power. They offered so many advantages and eliminated so many problems over fossil fuel generators that they are too numerous to list. Once I realized that solar generators had finally reached the necessary storage capacity and power, all the reviews of the Delta Pro showed it was the clear winner in its class for overall quality, performance, reliability and value. Since starting this project, I decided to advance from just getting emergency back-up power to supplementing my electric usage with the Smart panel and two Delta Pros. Once my electrician installs the Smart panel, my plan is to run my AC unit, refrigerator and other high wattage appliances with my Delta pros during peak power usage periods. The next phase of my plan is to add Extra Delta Pro batteries and some solar panels. Once my Smart Panel is installed, I will provide updates on how everything performs. So far everything I’ve tested on these units have had excellent results. They easily handle all power demands and last a long time.
I backed this product from the beginning and I am very pleased at the final version! The EcoFlow Delta Pro is perfect for my use case. It remains fully charged on standby for any power outages or mobile power uses that come my way. I have used this product to power lights, refrigerators, TVs, heaters, etc. and it has never failed to exceed my expectations! I have it sitting in the waterproof cover in my house ready to go at a moments notice. Great Job EcoFlow!
I put this battery backup/solar generator to use and was not disappointed. It is currently hooked up to 300W solar panels and provides pass-through power to my medium sized residential refrigerator. Excess power goes to recharge the batteries when the sun goes down and it still powers the refrigerator.
I took this out camping and was able to power my tent trailer for about 18 hours on a single full charge operating led lights' occasional water pump, and constant 3 way Dometic refrigerator (on AC setting). The refrigerator seems to have a constant draw even when the inside and contents are already cooled.
The EcoFlow is heavy and cumbersome to carry by myself. But it does come with solid wheels that make it easy to roll around with the extendable handle.
Remote app works fine and can connect via BT or WiFi. When through WiFi I can still control it when I am far away and connected with Internet.
This is a keeper for me and will definitely be used as backup power in the event of a power emergency, or when I need power in remote situations.
