We've been wanting portable batteries for a long time so we purchased two Delta Pros to run our 240V pump, once we receive the Double Voltage Hub - due tomorrow, and to act as back-up during CA Public Safety Shut-offs and winter storms. With a L14-30 cable we will connect directly to our manual transfer switch to run the house. Recharging the unit can be set from 200W - 1800W AC but I haven't tried the fast charge yet. To stop charging before fully recharged you must disconnect the AC plug. Note also that you need to unplug the AC to the unit to turn off the Delta Pro. EcoFlow recommends you do not leave the unit(s) plugged in all the time as this may cause degradation of the battery over time. This 70 year old is able to wheel the Delta Pro around - portable but a bit heavy at ~100 lbs. My husband and I can lift it into the SUV and take it on trips. Solar panels are on the way. The fan is a little noisier than I expected when recharging, but not bad. Delta Pros are a great value for the price!
I originally bought the Delta for my van conversion but quickly realized that I needed greater DC output than it would provide for my 2 high power DC uses-diesel heater and water pump. I ended up replacing the Delta for the Delta Pro which allows for 30 amp output DC. Love, love , love it. (even though it may be a bit overkill for my little van). Setup was so easy with an Anderson plug to the fuse box and charging is fast through an AC outlet. The Delta Pro is a bit of a beast though and difficult to load in and out of the van as it weighs about 100 lbs. The app is really helpful in monitoring the usage as I have trouble moving it around in the tight space to see the display.
So, we bought our Delta Pro via Kickstarter and received late 2021. We love it! It's awesome to use, charge, and control (via screen or app). So satisfied with the main unit that we bought an additional battery in early 2022. They are now a staple in our home although we are anxious to get the smart panel to use it for the whole home. Air conditioner in our future... maybe.
This easy to roll battery is absolutely amazing and it finally exists in real life now. The picture shows it powering a single group Eagle One by Victoria Arduino and a K30air espresso grinder by Mahlkonig . We’ve been with the lights out at home before and found out quickly that we must never be without our specially coffee from Pulp and Licor 43.
Just completed a 2 week travel by vehicle where I used the EcoFlow DELTA Pro to keep the refrigerator running in the vehicle. It never left the vehicle, and was charged by the 12 volt D/C charger while in operation. While visiting friends it sat in the driveway for 48 hours just working away. Dropped to about 85% state of charge, and when we were back on the road it regained most of it's charge by the next stop. I finally quit worrying about it, as it had no trouble at all with extended run time. I believe it could power that little fridge for 8 to 10 days without additional input. Only issue I had was had difficulty using the cigarette lighter in the car because the plug and outlet got very hot. I ended up making an adapter that clipped directly to the battery, and then no more heating issues were noted. It also powered my MoFi Internet hotspot the whole time we were gone. Glad I bought it!
Excellent. I pondered this for awhile. Reviewed other brands. Settled in exile for the rams and diversity of equipment and supplies available for one thing. Easy to use, comes with everything you need. Reasonable price considering the quality and competitors. No issues with products ( I have the Delta Pro, generator, solar panels, and order the new Wave). Customer service always answers the phone or chat. Love it!
Ordered my Delta Pro on the Kickstarter; process was easy and product was delivered with no issues. My reason for purchasing was to power my Sprinter van accessories (fridge, coffee maker, phone charging, etc.). Have had no issues so far. Small, compact, does what it claims to. Avoids having to buy/install multiple products. Added bonus: can be used as a small generator for the home.
We purchased the Delta Pro and extra battery last winter as a backer on Kickstarter. We initially planned to use this device as a backup in case we lost power to our home. I work from home and need to have internet and power to my home office at all times. We recently lost power for four hours and the battery handled all of my home office equipment as well as other appliances in the home with ease. Since these are portable, we plan to use these on our next camping trip along with a 300w solar panel. Highly recommend the Delta Pro.
