After evaluating several complete home backup battery solar solutions, I decided to take the plunge with the EcoFlow ecosystem and I haven’t looked back ever since. Aside from multiple Delta Pros and extra batteries, I’ve also purchased solar panels and the Smart Home Panel.
The Delta Pros have been a joy to work with, monitoring and controlling them from both the iPhone app and the remote control system. Multiple solar panels can be fed directly into the Delta Pro with standard solar extension cables. I had struggled to find someone who could install the Smart Home panel in my area and just when I was about to query EcoFlow they emailed me on their own about someone in my area who could install the Smart Home panels. Great customer service! Whenever I had any questions about the Delta Pros, EcoFlow tech support was prompt in getting back to me with useful and informative information. I felt comfortable enough with EcoFlow to purchase other products as well.
As far as the EcoFlow Delta pro itself, it’s a top of the class battery solution providing me with all the features I’ve desired. The app and firmware gets updated often enough that I’m noticing better efficiency and stability with the product as the months go by. I’m looking forward to many more EcoFlow products like the Power Kit, etc and plan to continue growing my EcoFlow ecosystem with more products as they come.
After owning a J***** 500 for a few months, I wanted something a bit more powerful that could serve as an emergency backup power source considering the outages from fires these last few years in Northern California. I stumbled upon the EcoFlow Delta Pro in a Facebook ad by chance and jumped at the opportunity of getting a battery with better battery chemistry (LFP) which should last a lot longer than my other NCM based battery. I was beyond thrilled when I received and tested my new Delta Pro. It has so many cool automated features like having it stop/start charging at certain threshold, connecting to my Delta Pro via wifi, and has a clean, intuitive interface that lets me know what’s going on without the need to look at the manual.
I’ve had this battery since January and I’ve loved it so much I’ve ordered another one just last week. It’s heavy (100 lbs) but it’s still portable and useful enough for me to take on camping trips this summer (along with the EcoFlow Wave) for a more luxurious camping experience. I’ve bought a couple of extra batteries for the Delta Pro as well and I should be better prepared for the next power outage. If you’re looking for the best portable emergency backup battery, you’ve found it.
I currently have my Delta Pro in front of my network, router, and cable modem, so if I lose power, it can run my whole network for about 20 hours. It works, and it charges really fast, up to 1800 watts, but I usually charge at 400 watts.
I have close to a full set of everything I'll need to get through an outage and powered camping. I can't be happier with the EcoFlow I've purchased: River Pro with extra battery, four 160W solar panels, recently a Delta Pro, (shown with my compound miter saw plugged in), Smart Generator, and the latest, a 220W bi-facial solar panel. Close to being off grid capable long-term. All my gear has worked perfectly, though haven't had many opportunities to use it all together. Everything is well engineered with an aesthetic eye toward industrial design. My Delta Pro powers corded tools perfectly and is handy for recharging my battery powered portable tools as well. Love it all, thanks EcoFlow.

Plan to add one more DELTA Pro soon, loving the first unit. It is powering everything I have hooked up, even the Schumacher SC1455 Portable EV Charger– Level 1 and Level 2, 16A, 240V. Worked right out of the box as is. I plan to add the second DELTA Pro to reach the full 240V. The app function is very clear and easy to use as well.
I do not currently have power in my detached garage and decided to be off the grid for the garage. I started to look at buying a bank of batteries, cables, connectors, an inverter, a solar charge regulator, solar panels, etc, but then I read about the Ecoflow Pro and the ability to expand the ecosystem with additional batteries, a Smart generator, and other well planned accessories. The ability to quickly charge the Ecoflow Delta Pro from a variety of energy sources, including an EV station, makes this unit very versatile. It's heavy but the built in wheels and retractable handle makes it easy to move around. Having a portable power station that can be wheeled from my garage to the house in an emergency helped make up my mind to go with the Ecoflow Delta Pro vs. piecing together an off the grid solar set up.
I’ve tested my Delta Pro in different situations, including keeping my commercial grade freezer running just to make sure we’ll be covered during the next emergency and it passed with flying colors. Thanks EcoFlow we’re ready.
I got this Delta Pro and the extra battery when it was being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. So far it has been working very well. I haven't really tested it anywhere to its limits yet or even for the purpose I got it for, which is to run an electric cement mixer, because I haven't started building my off-grid house yet but I am hopeful and confident that it will perform as it should as my other Ecoflow products haven't let me down in the past (R600 Pro). So far I have charged some devices and run some appliances and it works well with no issues so far. The build quality is good and the handle that pulls out for you to roll it around is sturdy enough. I also appreciate the length of the warranty for the Kickstarter backers. This setup will be my plan b in my off-grid home as it can run anything I want and for now I totally recommend it.
