Good Upgrade to My 9 year old QC35 Headsets

My QC Ultras are a good upgrade to my 9 year old QC35 Headsets. The units fit well just like my old QC35s.
I like the USB C charging connector. Now I have 1 cable to charge my phone and headsets. The Bose app is great for controlling multiple device connections. I like the power saving feature that powers down the headset after a specific time after you take them off. The BLE connection is superior to the QC35s -- I can wander anywhere within my house without the connection dropping. I also like the various modes (aware, immnersion, quiet) you can select on the headsets.
The QC Ultras are pricey, but I was able to buy mine during a sale for $100 off + an additional 10% off for joining the Bose mailing list.
One thing I'm not crazy about is the new touch (swipe) to control the volume. I like the old Up/Down buttons.
One [minor] downgrade -- the QC Ultras no longer come with an airplane headset adapter. Not a big deal, but at this price point, they should be included -- like the old QC35s. You can buy the adapters on Amazon for around $10.
Overall, I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Good noise canceling and sound but that’s it

They have awesome noise canceling and the fidelity is great. They do sound awesome. And they look super fresh. The lower don’t hit like they should though imo but they are passable. My problem with them is sort of my problem with most headphones like these, they make them too fancy and not practical. The headband extension is so “sleek” that it loosens on its own over time (because it doesn’t have those ridges like the 35ii) and but you can’t just one handed squeeze the ear cup with the headband to tighten it, you need two hands. And this leads to my most bothersome aspects which is the don’t return to a contracted state naturally like the 35’s, and while they are completely comfortable on your head, they aren’t comfortable on your neck. For me this is a massive deal as I always have them on and so them being clunky and uncomfortable is a big pain point. The touch controls annoy me. Loved analog cause can get the exact volume I want. Swiping for volume isn’t always tight. Sometimes it’s a bit less accurate. Also I accidentally hit it just when adjusting the earcup. The switching between modes takes too long and mutes for a moment the sound (so then I have to go 10 seconds back if ministering to a podcast). And another annoyance with that is sometimes I take them down around my neck and they auto pause and other time they keep playing. So I with companies like this would disuse on value rather than perceived value. Make things actually better. Can’t have it all I guess.

Immersion so good

Bought this a month ago and immediately super easy to use. And the transparency I have to say is incredible. It’s better than on the earbuds version. And the immersion is unreal.

Great for neurodivergence

I received these as a gift to sooth my anxiety as a car passenger and they are excellent!!! They mask out all the noise. They fit great, they don't hurt my ears at all!!! I love them.

Best noise cancelling / comfort around

I bought this for my 21 y.o. daughter who really needed the noise canceling to help her study. She absolutely LOVES her headphones and now has to hide it from her boyfriend who keeps taking it every chance he gets!!
