Quiet means Quiet

I bought the headphones for an upcoming long air flight. So far I only tested them. However the sound deadening is incredible. I live on a busy street and couldn't hear any traffic. I couldn't even hear anything when I just tapped on my computer in front of me.

I had these on my Christmas list but couldn't wait and they did not disappoint. The noise cancellation is amazing, and I love immersion, it's like being in the middle of the studio.

Not BOSE IMPROVEMENT IN SOUND OR CONTROLLABILITY

I’ll be totally honest. My ears? My wife’s ears? I bought two to replace our NC700s. The sound of the 700 is the better of the two. The controls on the right ear is a whole lot better on the 700. We have had Bose from the year one. Always a pleasurable sound. Our home entertainment system is also Bose along with our ear plugs. That’s what I call them. Our cars, Cadillac 2021 XT6 also has the Bose speaker system. I guess what I’m saying is that this is the first time I moved up where Bose HAS NOT met my expectations or BOSE quality “move up.” This is not a move up from the NC700 in referencing sound.” It doesn’t come close to them as far as controllability at the ears.
