Don’t bother get the originals !

I love the originals so I thought these would be a great upgrade. The sound quality is great HOWEVER every other new feature about these headphones is a disappointment. The auto turn off feature when you take the headphones off is annoying. The new touch volume button isn’t great for changing the volume quickly. The worst thing is the headphones pinch my skin when I take them off my ears and rest them around my neck. The older model is also much more comfortable for a long period of time. All around not a good upgrade and I repurchased the old model to replace my current pair.

Hello, thanks for leaving your review of the QC Ultra Headphones. It's great to hear you were impressed by the sound quality, but it's disappointing you weren't entirely satisfied with the other aspects of it and will certainly feed these comments on comfort back to our designers.
With regard to auto-off, this can be adjusted/disabled within the app's settings (see: https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/support/articles/HC2462/productCodes/QCUH-HEADPHONEARN/article.html for instructions)
Thanks again for leaving your thoughts, I hope you have a better experience with your next Bose purchase!

Sounds quality is not bad but at the price point you expect better battery life and connectivity.

These are better than the sonys. And I mean both the headphones and the earbuds. If you like low end deep bass, get these. If you prefer a higher end tight/punchy headphones, get the sony xm5. But after using these for a while, the sonys remind me of a demo version of what they could be.

Don't trade in your 700s if you like their control

The QC Ultras are comfortable, sound great, and have excellent noise cancelling, but I expected that. I much prefer the touch controls of the QC700 and I wish the Ultras had the same controls. The longer battery life of the Ultras is nice, but my 700s had a recharging case. I regret trading in my 700s for the Ultras for a relatively small discount. The Ultras fit a little more securely.

I'm happy to hear you like the comfort and sound that the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones provide, as well as their ANC performance. It's true that small differences in functionality will sway some customers in favor of the 700s, while others will prefer the Ultras. If there's a specific touch control you're missing, you can always contact our support team, and we'll advise as best we can: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Very good sound and NC, but a few problems

I've had these for a little under a year and I have mostly good things to say about them. Very nice sounding and very good noice cancelling are about what you'd expect for the price. The immersive audio processing is a nice bonus. A little bit overhyped, but a nice feature. Dual Bluetooth connectivity works...mostly. they will occasionally lose connection or randomly shut off and I have to go through a cold restart or they reconnect without any sound. This happens at least once a day The ear pads are quite comfortable...and quite flimsy. The stitching was coming apart after just a couple of months. I use them daily and after repscing the pads once from Bose and having them come apart after a few more months I bought pads from a third party manufacturer. Bose charges $30 for the pads so there's no excuse for the lack of durability.
