Purchased these as a gift and upgrade for my hubbies older QuietComfort headphones. He loves them! The newer features only add to the brilliance and function of these headphones! Definitely worth the$$$!

Love the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones. I bought two pairs, one for at work for Zoom, and one at home. Noise Cancelling is amazing. I don't have any experience with the mics though since I use an separate podcast microphone.

Hello Stas, I am sorry to hear that the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones aren't quite meeting your expectations.
When you first install the Bose app on an iPhone or iPad with iOS version 13 or newer, you will be prompted to allow Bluetooth permissions for the app. You must allow this for the app to work properly. To check that Bluetooth is allowed for the app, do one of the following on your iOS device:
Go to Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth permissions for the Bose app
Go to Settings, then scroll down and select the Bose app. Under Allow Bose Music To Access, enable Bluetooth

If you run into any issues, please reach out to support and we’ll be happy to help!

Three weeks in and these headphones are nothing short of incredible! I love how the headphones have three different modes - Quiet, Aware, and Immersion to cater to different settings I am in. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and the battery lasts an incredibly long time.
Receiving calls on the headphones is a great experience. I like the noise that pops up when someone answers the phone and when the call ends. The quality of the calls is great.
My only critique is the headphone case where the headphones have to be folded in to fit.

Got these about three weeks ago. Mostly for light music background during office work and for endless Teams meetings. For about 4 years i used to use MS Surface and Surface 2 phone. So far - very good impression from these Bose phones. Sound is very pleasant and rich. Calls are very clear and voice pickup from the noisy background is very good. Look is modern, classy and stylish. And they weigh less than Surface 2 pones.
The negative aspects so far:
1) these Bose phones are not as comfortable as Surface 2 . I usually spend 6-10 hours wearing them daily and this discomfort is noticeable. I think it's a combination of two things - the overhead band spring is rather tight and also the over-the-ear cups are a bit smaller, so with my mid-size ears I can't put them on in such a way that the cup is not touching the ear. So it does. And it tires me in about 2 hours, so i need to take a break and take phones off for like 30 mins to rest every now and then.
2) controls are not as intuitive/robust and versatile as in Surface 2 (those round physical dials for volume and level of noise cancellation were really awesome!) even after three weeks i'm still making mistakes when accepting/rejecting calls and switching between noise cancelling modes.
But i think i should get used to the phones cups and controls eventually. So i don't think these complains of mine are anywhere close to a deal breaker.
Of course all of the above is for the folks who don't really care if headphones cost 100$, 200$ or 500$.
