Wearing Headphones over Hearing Aids

I have used Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones for six weeks as of this writing. Pros: I bought these headphones to use over my hearing aids. They are very comfortable. I travel frequently by car and airplane, and I find the noise cancelation to be excellent. I have tried all modes, quiet, aware, immersion, and a custom mode. While using the quiet mode on the airplane I could hear the pilot for the first time in years! In quiet or immersion mode you can hear a loud voice talking without the background noise which I find beneficial. For the hearing impaired, I wish you could increase the volume of the voices without increasing the background noise. It would also be nice to increase the volume of each ear independently. These headphones are not meant to be a replacement for a hearing aid, but no brand of hearing aid provides noise cancellation like these. I find myself wearing them in noisy environments over my hearing aids to better hear. One of the more useful modes for hearing voices without background noise is a custom mode with only wind block on. Cons: The headphones could do a better job of sensing when they are on your head. Too frequently I must move them around on my head when the music stops. Don’t put your fingers near the joint where the earpieces rotate. I have pinched my fingers one too many times.

Sound quality and noise cancellation are great while travelling; however there isn't an option to disable ANC, only a slider of sort to adjust the quantity of ANC you desire. It's a small detail but you can't name any of your ANC presets either which kind of sucks. The headphones also wiggle around easily so they aren't the most gym friendly in my opinion. It'd be criminal to give a bad review as sound quality should be the name of the game, but overall these headphones are pretty great.

I purchased this during the Valentine sale. I have a pair of Bose but I just wanted to experience this new upgrade. I was not disappointed . I really like how the bass can be adjusted. Ian’s the immersive experience . I’m happy with them

Love Immersion Audio

I received these as a gift from my family. I had been toying with whether or not I should get the Sony equivalent or the BOSE. I love these, so far. I really like the immersion audio. Honestly, I did not think I would but I do. The only thing I do not like is the single button for power and bluetooth mode. It is not always clear if I actually turned the headphones off correctly.
