Comfort is an understatement.

There are very few times in my life I've taken the time to review an item I've purchased. I avoid negative reviews if possible and only review a product with a positive outlook when it has truly impacted me. In this case these headphones did just that.
Comfort is outstanding. I can lay on my side and they don't hurt my ears. I can wear them for hours without the battery losing much power and without them making my ears ache.
Sound proofing is out of this world. I can lay beside my husband and hear nothing while he scrolls tiktok on full volume (with his Galaxy 23 Ultra). If you know someone with or have one yourself you understand they are LOUD at full volume.
The immersive mode is an experience. My immersive audio books are transporting with this new ability to experience them. I strongly recommend "Mistletoe Murders and Mistletoe Murders 2" while wearing this headset. I felt like I was there in first person.

I bought these for my son who is back from college. When he has them on he isn't creating any problems for me and the battery life is long so they are good for everyone. But seriously, he says they are much better than the Bose Comforts, which he had before, and the sound quality is great. He also says they are more comfortable and not too tight on his head so he can wear them for a long time.

QuietComfort "Mediocre" is a more fitting title

I bought these because the QC 35 II are no longer available. I am not impressed. It seems Bose went backwards with the in call background noise canceling. I am in construction and I need a headphone that'll cancel noise and allow me to converse with clients, vendors, and suppliers on the job site while keeping my hands free for production. These miss the mark and are a downgrade... not an upgrade as Bose would have you believe. When on calls people on the other end complain of "fading in and out"... "echoey like I'm in a bathroom"... "cutting out"... I'm constantly asked to repeat myself.
When I take calls in "aware mode" it seems to help people on the other end hear me better.
These are garbage 🗑 for the price and I would pay the same amount for a pair of QC 35 II if that were an option.
What I do like is the construction... the build quality is there.
It's a nice feature that they will automatically pause my media when I take them off and resume when I put them back on.
Should be called the QuietComfort Mediocre and save the title of Ultra for something more deserving.

In very noisy environments, it can occur that loud sounds enter the microphone capsule, making it harder for the people you're calling to hear other audio. Excellent noise cancellation

I am very happy with the sound and noise cancelling. They are also very comfortable and lighter than my previous Sony headphones. Worth the extra money.

Great but not the best

These are more of a natural sounding headphones in which the bass is there but lacks the hard punch maybe because of the smaller 30mm drivers. The mid range is adequate and the highs are very distinct and detailed. The spatialized audio is not impressive and should be more of a controllable surround sound feature. The noise cancelling is excellent.
