A step up but not perfect

I’ve been wanting to try the new Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones since they were announced. There are many positive things about them and a few problems I've encountered. The headphones are super comfortable as you would expect. Solid build but extremely light weight. The case is nice and I appreciate that the headphones fold for easy storage. I love the stand by mode and the wear sensors work well. The volume strip is a nice touch as well as the press and hold functionality that can be customizable in the app. Sound quality is very good, if a little dull at times but sometimes I appreciate that neutral quality. The immersive audio feature works well in my experience and enhances the sound to another level. Battery life is good. Noise canceling overall is good but sometimes not as strong as I would expect. Also when riding the bus there is considerable noise feedback when the bus hits bumps in the road. This is the biggest problem. The other is when I leave the headphones to shut off automatically they will be very difficult to get to turn back on afterwords. This evening I had to plug in the headphones (which were fully charged) and then unplug again before I could get them to turn back on. Also in the plus column is the way multi device connectivity is handled, you can switch this feature off when not needed and turn on again in the app when needed. Also enjoy the ability to create multiple sound modes for many different options, and the equalizer is nice but would like more customization in those frequencies. Over all high quality product I am happy with.

Great Headphones, just one small con

have head these for 2+ months they are great, sound quality is fantastic, battery could be a little better but is still good, I had the sony XM5s before but they werent nearly as comfortable as these headphones - premium feel, and nice aluminum frame, one down side is that they cant be used while being charged

I bought these because my earbuds are causing ear pain while I sleep. Bose Quiet Comfort is everything advertised. Extremely comfortable and block out my wife's snoring, all night long! oh yea they sound crystal clear also! Excellent!!

It was very easy to connect, especially comparing to hassles I always had with Bose 700NC. Amazing immersive sound, noise cancellation is exceptional. Beautiful design and light too (again comparing to 700NC model).
