Decided to give this pair of headphones a try after hearing mixed reviews about Bose headphones in general, some said it’s a great brand and some said it’s an overpriced and overrated brand. Decided to pull the trigger and give it a try despite the high price tag. I’d have to say I am blown away by its performance and comfort. I’ve owned my headphones from all prices ranges, but these Bose Ultras are light, compact, and super comfortable to wear for hours on end. The sound is very clear and crisp. I listen to alot of instrumental music and sound separation is absolutely amazing. The bass is great and the noise cancelling was awesome when I traveled with it over the weekend. Overall a great pair of headphones with a nice protective case. Love the build quality of everything. These will be my new daily use pair of headphones.

Great imaging with long wearing comfort.

Compared to the Airpods Max, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is much more comfortable for my head. The Bose can be worn on long trips, almost goes away hours into the flight. The Max reminds me it's there with heat and pressure.
Compared with the Focal Bathys, the sound staging with the enhanced Bose imaging is less fatiguing than the Focal. Comfort wise, the Bose is better.
Time will tell whether the Bose Ultra can last as long as the Max or Bathys.

They sound amazing. I like that the new app that let's you select an EQ for the headphones. It works great with my phone

Sound quality and noise cancellation is great. Comfortable to wear. The volume controls are hard to get used to- I wish the volume controls were just regular buttons.

Bluetooth connection with ipad

I bought these for my wife. The sound quality and comfort are great. But the Bluetooth connection to her iPad is too unreliable. It takes too long and too many attempt before a successful connection, each time she removes them and puts them back on.

I had been looking at these headphones for a while. I have an older pair of Bose headphones and didn't think these would be much different. I am glad I purchased the ultra headphones. The sound quality is impressive and the comfort is great.
