Ultra for sure!

I received these as part of a Sneak Peek program and am so glad that I did! I have owned Bose noise cancelling headphones for as long as I can remember (several different versions) and wouldn't think of getting on an airplane without them (I travel a fair amount for work and pleasure). I wondered if these would really feel "ultra" / like an upgrade and they definitely do - immersive sound and comfortable (my key criteria!). The controls still take me a bit of getting used to, since they are different from my previous pair - but I'm sure I'll get the hang of them soon!

My Bose Quiet Comfort Headphones arrived a couple of weeks ago and they have quickly become one of the things I look most forward to after a long work day. Forget Calgon… my QuietComfort Ultra’s take me away! I didn’t think it was possible to improve upon the sound quality I’ve come to love with my Bose products… but it seems Bose is “winning” with the release of their new headphones. Set up was easy… after charging the headphones,, it only took a couple of minutes…if that. I first had to download the Bose App to my device and then added the headphones to my account. I can control all the features from the App and the primary ones directly on the headphones. I set my preferable modes on the product and can easily make changes as necessary. My favorite setting…complete immersion. This setting uses the highest noise cancelling level and plays immersive audio in the motion setting. Definitely next level quality sound.
I’m able to easily answer calls as they come in as well. The call clarity on my end is perfect… cancelling outside noise distractions of passing emergency vehicles with blaring sirens… and of course the occasional barking dog. I have to take time to locate the speaker in that callers say I’ve sounded muffled at times. It’s possible something is partially covering the speaker …. Maybe it’s my hair, but I’ll figure it out as I continue exploring the features of my new headphones.
With that, noise cancelling sound immersion is what I need at the end of a long day. I can unwind to the musicality of contemporary jazz… that sounds like I’m live in studio. Try them for yourself… you won’t be disappointed.

Headphones look and feel very slick. Case is not clunky and I appreciate the simple design. I work from home and use them for Zoom calls and jamming to music. Very easy to switch from device to device and quite comfortable for my small head. Immersion mode is next level compared to noise cancellation. Though I will say my AirPod Pros offer almost equivalent immersion audio. I sometimes feel like it's not loud enough... but maybe that's a good thing as the noise cancellation is perfect. Buttons/functions make sense and are easy to remember.

The Game Changing Headphones of 2023

These headphones are….. AMAZING. In comparison between the NC700’s and the AirPods Pro Max the QC ultra’s are the perfect blend. The three modes Immersive, Ambient, and Quiet mode are HUGE versatility factors that make adaptability for daily use a no brainer. The actual quality of sound is vastly improved from the NC700’s but still keeping the base that I love with boss. The headphones are light and feel premium themselves. Truly Bose has outdone themselves with this new pair of headphones.

Just bought it for calls in home office. It's ok but microphone is not better than my 5y old Plantronics 5200. Hope that a FW upgrade will add LE Audio LC3 call support for clear-as-wire voice calls.

Phenomenal! That’s my description of these headphones in one word. To begin with, the design is absolutely beautiful. I love how, when you adjust the length of the earpiece you don’t hear that clicking noise. The earpiece glides in and out very smoothly. The finish and quality of the headphones is top notch and it shows. When I wear them, it doesn’t even feel like I have headphones on, they are that comfortable. As for the use of the headphones, I really, really love how they added the volume bar which increases and decreases with the swipe of your finger. The sound quality is really good. As an owner of other Bose headphones (QC35 and QC45), I can confidently say that these are by far the best headphones Bose has put out. The immersive mode is a great feature. It sounds as if I’m in the music video. I absolutely love them!

They are unbelievably comfortable! Other headphones have too much clamping force that I was used to for years, Never again. My first BOSE product and I’m never going back. The sound is out of this world and I love the app with the equalizer. The noise cancellation and immersive audio are superb. The look is sleek and cool with the two-toned colors.
