AWESOME Headphones to write home about!

I received my Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones in color: White Smoke and am very impressed by the sleek and stylish lightweight design with only two buttons: Multi-Function/Bluetooth buttons and a volume strip, where you can easily swipe up or down to adjust volume, all located on the right side of the earcup. The headphones are padded nicely around head and ears and provide exceptional comfort level after several hours of wear. I work from home and live in town where it can get pretty noisy during the day, so really needed a pair of good noise cancelling headphones to drown out the noise of the traffic and such. My favorite starred setting when working is Quiet Mode which provides exceptional Acoustic Noise Cancelling, and I found that my production increased due to being able to concentrate more on my work by not hearing all the distracting noises that entail with working from home. When I'm not working, I love to watch movies and listen to music with my Bose surround sound system, and glad that I can easily switch between devices and pair my new headphones with my sound bar as this especially helps when it's late at night and don't want to disturb or wake others. My favorite setting for movies and music is Immersion Mode which takes it to another level of complete bliss where the music literally wraps you up and sweeps you away! I'm so impressed with the quality of sound, it's so crisp and clean! The Bose app. is a must for set-up since there's no paper manual provided. There are so many cool features, tips, and shortcuts available in the app. to where you can customize your headphones to your liking and needs, such as the Equalizer (EQ) where you can add more or less Bass & Treble. I like that I can be listening to music and able to receive phone calls, which pause my song and then resume playing after my call. Very cool and convenient Sleep/Wake features, where the headphones automatically go into sleep mode when I take them off and then wake up when you put them on, and automatically powers off after 24hrs. of inactivity all while saving battery life. There are some things to be mindful of, such as the recommended safe handling suggests placing your hands around the middle of each earcup when removing from and putting back in case as this helps keep fingers away from the hinges, so they don't get pinched. It is also not recommended to use headphones near water or moisture of any kind and to clean with a dry cloth only! I knew that Bose would have the best pair of headphones available that would meet my needs and expectations and beyond, and they have always been my number one choice and have been very happy with all their products that I've purchased over the years. Bose also has exceptional and knowledgeable customer service agents to help with all your needs and concerns. I highly recommend these headphones and all Bose products to friends, family, and to all music lovers out there! There's no comparison when it comes to Bose, they are simply the best!

Super Comfortable and Awesome Sound

I work in construction and can't tell you how many times I've had to walk away from my jobsite to take a call bc it was so loud. The design on these headphones are amazing and so comfortable. The fit is snug to the point where I can't hear anything around me using the noise canceling quiet mode unless I want to, then I'll use the cool Activesound option, which allows you to hear your surroundings, but eliminates them if they get too loud, so I can still enjoy my music or continue my phone call uninterrupted. Hands down, best on the market!

BOSE, First to None!

BOSE(Best Overall Sound Equipment) has once again outperformed. The Quietcomfort Ultra Headphones are first to none in my humble opinion. The symphonic sounds bouncing from one cup to the other allows you to truly immerse yourself into whatever genre of music you enjoy. From jazz, to rock and roll, to rhythm and blues, and let's not forget classical, these headphones plays mind games on your psyche. The minor tones are just as clear or maybe clearer than the major tones, which is my most enjoyable feature. The way the headphones controls the output of music establishing peaks and valleys throughout the musical selection places you in state where you can simply enjoy the artistry of music.

Game changing sound

Bose is known for their amazing sound but these headphones take it to the next level. Immersive audio is the next best thing to going to a concert. Classical, punk, blue grass... it doesn't matter... it sounds like you're right there with great seats.
As a mid-40's woman, I'm not the most technologically savvy person out there but setting up these headphones & pairing them to both my phone & computer was easy & now I can jam out to music during work, take a quick call, & get back to dancing around the room seamlessly.
The only issue I've had since I first put these on is trying to get used to noise cancelling technology... it makes my head feel mushy. Luckily I've added to my modes to allow various levels of outside noise to come through so I can enjoy the technology without discomfort.
If you're interested in high quality headphones with amazing sound capabilities, you will not be disappointed with Bose QC Ultra Headphones.

the Immersive Audio is an Amazing Innovation!

The Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra have amazing sound. The Immersive Audio is the innovation that makes this model my favorite on the market.
THE SOUND: I am a chemical engineer who became a lawyer. I am overly reliant on using my words and numbers (all my forces of good and evil) to express a point. I think that the sound here is so startlingly vivid that I don't need to draw arrows to all tech innovation that make these headphones great. There are many Bose videos that do that better. I am sure that data would support me in my statement that the QC Ultra are a singular sound experience. I listened to a variety of songs with varying vocal and musical ranges, such as Mozart's Queen of the Night and Massive Attack's Angel. I could hear notes at a high frequency and low frequency clearly and loved the QC Ultra made the sound experience so clear. These are the headphones to wear if you want to feel like part of the band. It is incredibly convenient that the QC Ultra connects to two points over Bluetooth at the same time. I was able to connect to all of my tech, including the stationary bike, with ease.
NOISE CANCELING: I tried the Quiet mode, both around my son's tuba lessons and neighborhood construction. I couldn't hear anything I didn't want to hear. I was thrilled. (Still supportive of him but the tuba is unpleasant.) The QC Ultra work well for Microsoft Teams meetings and FaceTime calls. I could hear voices clearly, without any background fuzz or clatter. As an experiment, I called my friend who has the least amount of phone etiquette to see how the sound would hold. (She's the friend we all have, the one who answers the phone while lawn mowing or eating crackers.) I could hear her voice startlingly clearly and had only a slight suspicion she was washing pots and pans. I was less annoyed with her than usual. I think these headphones will bring us to a better friendship.
THE HEADPHONES AND PACKAGING: These headphones are even more soft and comfortable than the previous model, the QC 45. They are lightweight and the white color looks sophisticated and fashion-y. (I don't have the 700's and I don't know if they are part of the Quiet Comfort lineage.) I appreciate that these headphones came in a hard case within environmentally-friendly packaging. Even high-end headphones like Apple or Beats Pro no longer have cases included with the headphones.
BATTERY: I have severe battery anxiety and charge everything when it hits 50 percent. I wore these headphones for 16 hours, on all modes, before I compulsively had to charge it again, at 50 percent. The battery life is amazing.
CONCLUSION: These headphones are a wonderful, innovative approach to sound. The Immersive Experience is named perfectly-- you can feel the adrenaline and euphoria from crystal-clear sound that is similar to being at a live performance. The sound really is THAT good. Even if you wear these all day and use them just for calls and meetings, the sound of your colleagues and friends is clear and easy to focus on. Five thumbs up! (Out of five.)

Best Headphones ever!

Received these headphones and immediately I noticed the improved comfort. I put on pandora and the first song that came on blew my mind away. As a musicophile, I listen to a wide range of music (classical, jazz, prog rock and hard rock). A song by Rush came one and I was blown away by the depth that I had not appreciated. I switched through Jazz, classic, pop and rock and the music really seemed to jump out at me.
The following day, working at home, I listen to music while my wife works from home. Her voice when she is on conference calls is now muffled and the little clicks when she is typing on the computer I do not hear. In fact, she has to really get my attention now (wave arms, tap me on the shoulder etc.) Even my kids I do not hear when they are home from school. Overall, they work great and I love the spatial sounds and the noise cancelation. I have a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort but these are handsdown better then those!!

Life Improvement

These have significantly improved my quality of life. I have a set of QC 35’s and the difference between those and these have definitely made an impact for me. I have sensory issues most of the time, so I absolutely love the feel of these headphones. They’re so comfortable I don’t get any head or ear fatigue from them, they’re not ill fitting at all and very adjustable. The cups aren’t too large and they not too small, they fit just right. I wouldn’t say the build quality is amazing but they’re definitely not some pair of cheaply made things in a small factory.
The sound quality of them is an improvement upon my previous headphones and the noise cancellation is almost second to none for me. They do give me that sense of peace I’m looking for when I’m studying or drawing. I like to listen to music when I’m in a creative headspace and these really help with sealing off the rest of the world and immersing me in the music. The Immersive mode is my favorite.
I would also like to give a bit of personal information and say I do get overwhelmed very easily sound wise from the world around me and these help immensely when I need to shut off excessive noise around me.
All in all, I would say these are definitely a quality of life improvement and something I would easily recommend to most people.

Well worth it

Received my headphones and was instantly impressed with the finish and the quality of them. Very comfortable to wear and give a classic look. Started to use them taking in a variety of media including, music, podcasts, sports, and movies. Used the headphones on numerous work calls as well where they were fantastic. I love the battery life as well as the ease of access to connect through Bose music. The auto stop when you take a side of the headphone off of your ear is a great touch.
