This tape is horrible.

This tape doesn't hold and I have to redo almost 30 boxes. What a joke. Didn't stick to the box for more than an hour. I want my money back

lousy start

this comes in a dispenser that should be easy to use but it is not; the initial cardboard stop protecting the blade is difficult to remove, the beginning of the tape is difficult to find and then comes off in pieces; all in all an experience not worthy of the Scotch name. The tape itself is thin and floppy so I will switch to the other brand next time.

would not stay on at any temperature. Constantly tried to make stick Not dependable. A lot of money spent to be so frustrated!!!!! Move was very stressed because of tapes performance!!!

Quality Control has gone down!

I have always used Scotch brand tape. And when moving or storing boxes have used the Moving & Storage tape. We are packing to move at the end of the month and the tape quality is just horrible. The tape does not stick! We have had to tape the tops shut with at least two strips of tape along the top and then often have to go back and put another piece crossways on each side so that the tape doesn't lift. The boxes are not overstuffed. Very disappointing as we have never had this issue with Scotch brand before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from 3M to evaluate. It was a little difficult to get the roll started because the tape kept splitting, but once I got it going it dispensed easily and cut cleanly. Adheres very well to cardboard. I was not able to test it for long-term storage in weather extremes. It would be nice if the tape were a little bit wider for more bonding surface. Otherwise, it works exactly as packing tape should!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was running low on packing tape, so I was happy to receive the tape/dispenser for free to review. I used this type of tape mainly for mailing packages and it works well -- I can't attest to it's longevity in extreme temperatures though. I like the idea of the dispenser and having the cutter as part of it, so I don't have to look for scissors, but as I have small hands, the whole thing felt a bit unwieldy and awkward, especially when I was taping up small boxes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
