This Scotch tape with dispenser was exactly what the doctor ordered. Easy to start and long-lasting hold power. Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from 3M with the agreement I would write a review, and we use packaging tape quite a bit at our house. This tape works as it should, for more than just sealing boxes. We use it for reparing books, as well. The only slight downside is the dispenser (as with all packaging tapes we've had). The tape tears off well, but then the end of the tape doesn't always stay in position. So, we have to mark the end of the tape by saving the beginning piece and attaching it to it after each use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Book/Magz Repair

I'm a unique user. I use long life tape to secure plaz lid to plaz box's. (Why can't I edit anything in this post ???) I mostly tape magazine covers, dclippings, book repair, and labels. I have 1000s of old.magz. As an engineer I'm very sad mmm doesn't post tech info: I need peel and notch strength, plastic chemistry (hardness, scratch), uv and water life, tensile and strain, etc.(This tape has zero notch strengrh.) I've used mmm Book Repair Tape, which is wider, thicker and also has zero strength. Another waste of $$$ and time. I've been using 001 Photo Tape for best magazine covers, but it's < 1 in wide, and costly for 100% over lap.i would buy a lot, if 001 came in 2, 4 or 5 in widths

Tough Tape

The Scotch Long Lasting Storage Tape with Dispenser holds great and the hold has lasted through a lot. I used it to strengthen a box I move in and out of my car for materials for work. It has lasted for almost a month now.
