Tape doesn't stick

I bought 6 rolls of this tape. Packed boxes for moving and taped them next morning all the tape had come off. Thinking it was just this roll i retaped with the second roll. Same thing happened. Really disappointed in the brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Moving & Packaging tape doesn't stick! All our moving boxes are opening up within 12 hours of taping! Seriously?

terrible tape

Thinking that I'd get a value for a once quality brand, I paid nearly double for Scotch brand Moving and Storage tape (compared to no-brand tape). It's tough tape alright but I should have bought a bottle of glue to accompany this roll; it might be great for long-term storage but it won't stay in place before I can get the box out of the house. There are three layers in this photo but if the tape won't stick to anything but itself, what does it matter?
The temperature is warm but that didn't effect my first roll of generic tape.

Get this tape if you feel like taping twice!

[Employee of 3m-scotch] This tape is terrible. I taped about 30 boxes to be transported and the very next day the tape had come loose on most of the boxes. I had to go buy some "good" tape and tape them all again. What a pain!

Great name, horrible tape

I bought an 8 pack of this tape as we prepare for our move. Immediately the tape was noticeably not holding up. Many (if not all) the strips had to be pressed down multiple times. When I went to our storage shed a few days after putting boxes in a majority of the strips had to be pressed down again. The tape is just not sticking. I'm very disappointed.

Quality Control has gone down!

I have always used Scotch brand tape. And when moving or storing boxes have used the Moving & Storage tape. We are packing to move at the end of the month and the tape quality is just horrible. The tape does not stick! We have had to tape the tops shut with at least two strips of tape along the top and then often have to go back and put another piece crossways on each side so that the tape doesn't lift. The boxes are not overstuffed. Very disappointing as we have never had this issue with Scotch brand before.

Does not stick to boxes

I purchased a six roll pack of this tape. I began packing this week. I keep finding boxes that have opened as the tape absolutely will not hold. I am using multiple strips of tape on each box. I am worried about the tape on the bottom of the boxes when movers begin the move.

Frustrated!!

We bought Scotch Moving & Storage tape hoping this brand name would hold better than other tape we have bought. Nope.. As prior poster showed pic that is what all of our boxes packed for our move today looks like. Now instead of packing we are having to go buy new tape and retape all of the boxes. Very disappointed in Scotch.
