unhappy mover

i bought 2 rolls recently of your moving and packing tape (long lasting) and i am very unhappy, the tape tears down the middle of the roll every time i tried to start a new piece to use.... the tape does not stick to the boxes well at all..... i just got done packing 4 boxes and had to used an entire roll of tape just to seal the boxes enough to not fall apart when i pick them up (i will most likely be retapeing these boxes):(..... i used to move furniture for a living so i know how to tape boxes correctly....i will not be using this product to finish packing my house up to move...i will not be recommending this product for others to use and i will also be buying another brand for all my taping needs......

Very Disappointed!

I am moving and bought two packages/four rolls each of the Moving & Storage Packaging Tape that is supposed to be long lasting. It was more expensive than the other brands of packing tape but since it was Scotch brand and said long lasting I bought it. I packed numerous boxes and taped them shut and the next day the tape was coming back off. I put more tape on and it starting coming back off. Every box I packed the tape has come back off of the cardboard box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Product-Do Not Use

I purchased a six roll package of Moving and Storage "Long Lasting" Packing Tape # 3650. I spent the day packing for a move and I am using all new moving boxes, no dust or dirt on the box. After stacking the days work of packing I have noticed all the tape just pulling away from the boxes. I applied pressure in application and rubbed it enough to produce a little heat on the tape but this tape is failing. All of the packing is in a controlled environment with no extreme conditions. Tomorrow I need to go out and find a decent tape and retype all my boxes.

Does not stick

After reading the first eight one-star reviews, I have experienced the same problem -- the tape will not stay stuck to cardboard boxes, no matter the box. I agree with the reviewer who would not have imagined needing to review a 3M/Scotch brand product. Suffice to say I will not buy this product ever again.

Flimsy and doesn’t stick

Don’t get this tape. Use heavy duty shipping tape instead (Scotch brand). This is flimsy, breaks, and doesn’t stick. Disappointed and wish I could take this back to the store. Hopefully this helps someone looking for reviews before purchasing products.

Poor tape quality

I bought this tape two weeks ago because we are moving. Taped up the boxes from the bottom and started falling off within one week. Very bad tape. I would not buy again.

"Note to Self" = never ever buy this tape again

Impossible to get the tape started. a simple ARROW on the tab would at least let the customer know which way to start trying to free up the end.. I scraped through at least 20 layers of tape in an effort to get this started, wasted enormous amounts of time and tape and never did get it started.

Not Suitable for Moving

My experience was similar to other reviewers. I purchased a 4 pack and taped over 40 moving boxes. The next day they were all unattached to the boxes even though they were stored in my AC home. Now I have to repurchase another product and retape every box, top and bottom. Do not purchase this product. I have always had good luck with Scotch products so I am very disappointed.
