Great tape

Does NOT lock edges

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using Blue Painters tape forever...we recently purchased the Edge Lock brand from 3M. I don't know why they call it Edge Lock... the tape unrolls from the baseboard and lets the paint seep through all over. We thoroughly cleaned our baseboards, applied the tape and then went over the edge of it with a flat screwdriver to help seal the edge with no luck - now we have to paint the baseboards...ugh! Never Again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I gave this blue tape to my boyfriend and he uses it for work around the house. He uses to cover bathtub leaks which for him works perfectly.

More than painters tape

We only use 3M Blue Painters Tape for painting projects, it's the best. However, my husband has started using it to trap those pesky beetles and boxelder bugs that have been a nusiance over the last few years. He can capture them in a small piece of tape on a wall or window and fold it in halfwithout leaving a residue. It also hides the odor they put off when you vacuum, swat or spray them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy Frog tape for painting but decided to try 3M's Edge Lock for a change and was amazed at how much better it was. It was much easier to apply, less likely to get tangled, much stickier than frog tape and came off like a dream. Thanks so much for a great product!

really disappointed

Taped out all windows and doorways as well as baseboards. Then I painted the trim. Didn't have paint bleed, but when I removed the tape from the walls, it took the paint off the walls. Now I have to repaint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
