Easy to use and did not damage very old furniture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free sample of Delicate Surface painters tape from 3M but I wasn’t even sure which paint project I would use it on! Then my son wanted part of his bed frame painted - just the pickets - and I knew this was the right tape! The frame is antique and has been in the family for three generations. I was afraid regular painters tape might pull the very old stain off the wood or damage it. The delicate surface tape worked perfectly - crisp clean edges, no bleeding, and no damage on the very old part of the headboard. I am still getting over the “striped pickets” but am happy part of the original antique remains and my son is very happy with his bed!

Keeps Paint Where You Want It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I touched up some paint in a high traffic area before the holidays. The tape worked great at keeping the paint where I wanted it. I did not see any seepage under the tape, just nice crisp lines.

Easy to remove without damaging my walls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape goes on smooth against the wall and it avoids paint dripping into the protected part of the wall. Once the job is finished, it is easy to remove without damaging the walls. I leaves a nice straight line that makes it look professional and clea.

best painter's tape i have ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] wide tape that covered quite a bit of area. when i removed it, did not leave residue, nor tore into annoying bits. i used both with acrylic and latex paint jobs, on sheetrock and stretched canvas for art projects. i will definitely buy in the future.

I Needed This!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided with a free Scotch Delicate Surface Painters Tape to try and review. This is a perfect compliment to their existing line of painters tape, which I use as well. The Blue version of painters tape is great and rarely damages surfaces, but this version specifically designed for delicate surfaces has a ton of uses, especially for do-it-yourselfers, artists and creatives who routinely work on surfaces they are keen to protect. I had been putting off some work on one of my guitars and this was perfect for masking the areas of the neck and fretboard next to the nut I was replacing. One very important feature is that it leaves no damage or adhesive residue. I don’t know that I’d leave it in place for 60 days, but that claim is very reassuring. I did test the Edge-Lock Technology by taping off a surface and using spray paint. The result was a nice tight line with no bleed. I can think of many uses for this product and plan on using it on all of my projects where there is a chance adhesive might damage the surface.

Painting made easy

Made painting around my anticue door frames and base boards a breeze. Would definitely recommend this to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a whole lot to say about this product. It's painter's tape, and it gets the job done. Easy to apply, easy to remove. Appears to have a very gentle adhesive that won't ruin paint or other objects.
3M provided me with a sample of this product at no cost for an unbiased review.
