Gentle when you need less adhesion.

Important Tool for My Painting Projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Scotch Delicate Surface Painter's Tape 2080 from 3M to try.
I actually waited to receive this tape before I started my painting project - a feature wall with pink, blue and gray stripes. It turned out perfectly! The wall was already painted a creamy white but with an eggshell finish so I was going to use a regular blue painters tape when I came across the Delicate Surface. I waited about 4 hours before peeling off the tape and the lines were super-sharp with no residue left behind and no chipping on both the newly painted side of the tape or the old paint under the adhesive. I am now using it to paint decorations on a wooden box that already has a painted surface - I can't wait to see how that turns out!
I am glad I got this tape roll as a free sample because the cost was a little prohibitive though well worth it if used well and often. That's probably one "negative" for me, the cost.
