[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of trim and decorative molding on walls and windows. Most wood, some marble, some plaster molded. Tape protected all perfectly ( even the delicate plaster figures) without ANY damage or paint-creep. Outstanding...of course ,I had expected it to.

This tape was perfect for my detailed picket fence design in my youngest daughters room! It let me paint great white slat boards over a green grass base without any leak over. When the fence was painted and dry I was able to pull the tape without any damage or mess, just great.

Beats any product out there....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used all types of types when dealing with trim work... And usually end up with grumbling about how it removed some of the paint or how it seeped under the tape... But thats NOT a problem with Blue...I use it with all my trim work when painting...it locks out seeping and it doesn't pull off paint...Won't use anything else...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted my newly remolded bathroom. I used a metallic glaze in a stripe pattern, and there was no bleed and I have precise lines! Great product!

3M #2080EL leaves residue

Used 3M #2080EL to mask off my hardwood flooring from painting molding and it left residue after being applied for less than 48 hours. So, not sure what I'll clean it off with, but it is definitely there!

Awful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adhesion doesn't come close to "medium". I've used post-it notes with stronger glue. After first taping, I had to go around and reapply half the tape. It's still popping off the moulding as I'm painting. It doesn't seem to do anything significantly better in blocking paint. Huge waste of time and money. Never been disappointed in a 3M product before.
