FRUSTRATING!

I had problems with this tape staying on the wall & it did remove some of the paint from underneath it when I removed it. I'm not sure about the edge seal, because my lines aren't exactly sharp. Probably worked better than masking tape, but still room for improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product works excellent, I've used it to paint and never peels that paint off. I also used it to recaulk my shower, to trace the caulk and avoid extra amound on the walls and worked perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only use this tape for all of my painting needs...i never had bleed through, the lines are clean and it's easy to rip from the roll..love it.

Removes cleanly, but edge-lock no different?

As an artist and a DIY'er, I love all my ScotchBlue tapes. I recently purchased and tried the new Delicate Surface with Edge-Lock, but found out that it performed the same as the regular Delicate Surface tape. While I love the fact that both tapes remove cleanly, no matter how long my projects take, I still had paint bleed with the Edge-Lock (even after lightly burnishing the edges for secure adhesion). This tape does work great for dry brush techniques.

This product is the best.

The 2080-EL has excellent adhesion to newly painted trim base and door trim to allow for super straight cut in lines when painting walls. It removes easily without any damage to the trim paint.

edge lock doesn't work

Even with my second edge lock project, I would not recommend the product. I just finished a stripe in a bedroom and it looks terrible! No edge here! I will have to paint the whole room over with no stripe!

This was terrible. Used it to tape some plastic to the wall to protect from paint over spray. Very light gauge plastic but all of it fell down. Would only use the regular blue in the future. Wasted my money on 3 rolls of this stuff.
