Great Storage Tape!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review of it and I’m so glad that I did as this is my new favorite tape for sealing boxes! This tape has done a great job keeping my boxes sealed in a hot and humid Florida garage which is very impressive as many other tapes I have tried wind up peeling up in the heat and humidity. So far this tape is holding up great and it’s thicker than normal packing tape but without the messiness of duct tape. Two big thumbs up from me! I highly recommend it for moving tape and for storage! I’ve also found that it works great as shipping tape for mailing boxes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The tape is thin and tears down the middle.

Just bought it today. When trying to peel it off the roll, it tore in a few places. I was hoping this tape would be heavy duty because the description says it is long lasting, but I was wrong. Perhaps the heavy duty tape would work better for me.

terrible tape

Thinking that I'd get a value for a once quality brand, I paid nearly double for Scotch brand Moving and Storage tape (compared to no-brand tape). It's tough tape alright but I should have bought a bottle of glue to accompany this roll; it might be great for long-term storage but it won't stay in place before I can get the box out of the house. There are three layers in this photo but if the tape won't stick to anything but itself, what does it matter?
The temperature is warm but that didn't effect my first roll of generic tape.

Doesn't stick after 24 hours!

I bought the dispenser and two 3-packs to prepare for our move. Boy, was that a mistake. ALL of the boxes I have taped up are ALL untapped. Not one has stuck. This tape is worthless for moving or storage. I would recommend a more expensive, heavier duty tape that will last. I should have looked at reviews before spending the money on this worthless tape.

not sticking to moving boxes

We were very disappointed to move after 16 years in a residence to find that we bought scotch tape for all of our over 100 boxes to find that as soon as overnight the tape has dislodged fromt eh boxes. We spent a fortune on tape and boxes and now for movers to come, they will have to retape every box before lifting. I am VERY SURPRISED AND UPSET that Scotch has come up with a better sticking ability, especially when you specifically buy Moving and storage tape!!!!!!!!

It keeps breaking

I just opened a new roll...I usually use heavy duty packaging tape, but bought this one this time. I tried it on a box, and the tape broke. I figured it was a fluke, so I tried it again. it broke again. I can't use tape that breaks! Luckily, I had a roll of the heavy duty, and managed to complete my project. This tape is thinner than the heavy duty, but I don't understand why it breaks.
