A bit brittle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hard time getting the tape started, because of how brittle it is. I am assuming this is a new roll, so if this is the case, it would not be buying this product. The tape split in 4 pieces before I could get it to go. Once I got it started, the tape still seemed more brittle than other takes I have used. I was really not impressed with the feel of it and the piece I used did not stick "long term". Based on this experience, I would not use it or recommend it to others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This tape is horrible.

This tape doesn't hold and I have to redo almost 30 boxes. What a joke. Didn't stick to the box for more than an hour. I want my money back

lousy start

this comes in a dispenser that should be easy to use but it is not; the initial cardboard stop protecting the blade is difficult to remove, the beginning of the tape is difficult to find and then comes off in pieces; all in all an experience not worthy of the Scotch name. The tape itself is thin and floppy so I will switch to the other brand next time.

It was a little difficult to get the roll started because the tape kept splitting, but once I got it going it dispensed easily and cut cleanly. Adheres very well to cardboard. I was not able to test it for long-term storage in weather extremes. It would be nice if the tape were a little bit wider for more bonding surface. Otherwise, it works exactly as packing tape should!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was running low on packing tape, so I was happy to receive the tape/dispenser for free to review. I used this type of tape mainly for mailing packages and it works well -- I can't attest to it's longevity in extreme temperatures though. I like the idea of the dispenser and having the cutter as part of it, so I don't have to look for scissors, but as I have small hands, the whole thing felt a bit unwieldy and awkward, especially when I was taping up small boxes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I did when I got this was rush down to the basement and started reinforcing my boxes of “stuff”. We call it stuff, but honestly it’s things that we would feel pain if we were to lose. Things like cherished Christmas ornaments made by our children, China that’s been handed down from parents and yearbooks from high school. I was impressed at how well it gripped, even on those less than pristine boxes and not having to fumble with scissors. I am going to have to go buy another roll to finish my boxes since my one roll free sample just won’t cover all my boxed memories. I think I need one roll just for the forever evergreen (fake lol) Christmas tree that’s been in the family for almost 2 decades.
