Good adhesion to boxes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tape on storage boxes that are used in my attic that is not climate-controlled. I put the boxes up there about three weeks ago and the tape is still holding strong, even in the cold temperature. The tape itself is thicker than normal packing tape, which makes it easier to handle and less prone to ripping. 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

Works as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strong packing tape. Works as expected. Easy to dispense and apply to packages, but wish there was a better mechanism to keep the tape edge from sticking to the roll between uses.
I received this as a free product sample from 3M.

Holds up on the frigid temperature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just as the temperature started to drop in our area, I need to store some boxes in our shed. Conveniently, I was offered by 3M to sample their Storage Packing Tape, that is said to be "Long lasting in extreme temperatures." Here is what I found:
This is not the same as packaging tape. To really seal the box, after putting the tape on the box, use the side of the tape or something hard to roll it over the tape to make it adhere to the surface of the box. If you just put it on & run your hand over the tape, it won't be enough to get the tape to stick to cardboard boxes because cardboard boxes usually has some texture & dust.
If you are sticking this on plastic storage boxes, then you should have no problem.

Did it stay? Yes. After leaving there for 2 weeks, I went back to check on the tape. It was fine, despite the freezing temperature in our area.

Sticks good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from 3M. I am really looking forward to testing its long term abilities in the heat of the attic. As of right now, the tape is holding up well. It has a slightly thicker feel than the standard clear packaging tape. It adheres to cardboard well and stays in place without issue. This product is slated for long term use, and I look forward to seeing how it holds up over time.

Great Tape

Long lasting packing tape

Great packaging tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch Long Lasting tape is easy to use on the dispenser and does a great job keeping boxes sealed and closed. I think this tape would be great to use on boxes that are going into storage for a long period of time. But only time will tell how much longer this tape will last over standard packaging tape.
