The device looks good, and probably performs as well also. I haven't had a chance to use it as meat prices are outrageous. One day I will be able to and will be happy to get the correct temperature

Worth doing research first

I did a lot of research before ordering this unit. I actually ordered a single and a double set. It works very well, easy and intuitive to use. Don't need a degree from MIT to use it. I have only gone about 300 foot away and it works fine without needing an internet connection. Put it in your pocket and check the temperatures of your meat without being tethered to your cell phone.

Bought with the air fryer. I got it because I figured I would need it for steak, but haven't cooked one yet. The meat I did cook, I really didn't need it. But when I cook a cowboy, I am sure it will come in handy.

The wifi connection is outstanding! I can monitor the temperature literally from anywhere. Signal never dropped and the magnetic base is well made. The app is a little clunky but I suspect it will be improved over time. Very happy with this purchase.
