Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this before I realized it was recommended for ages 6 and up. I had planned to have my 3 year old use and learn from it, and she is, but with help from her big sister. It states it has over 60 activities, and it's likely true! We have not gotten through half of them yet though - they have found a few that they enjoy repeating and avoid the ones that are "too hard" for them. The actual display screen is smaller than the screen on my cell phone, which was kind of a bummer, but luckily the kids have better eyes than I do and could care less. Screen also rotates, which is great when they are working together and taking turns. Little one may not know all the answers or be able to do all the activities, but she loves it the most because she feels like she is in school like her sister now. It keeps her busy and gives me some free time while giving her some educational screen time.

Not perfect... yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves all the noises and tunes this laptop plays and she’s slowly getting the hang of it. I’m thankful it’s easy to clean (there was a peanut butter incident). Set up was miserable. I tried to open the battery portal and within two turns the screw was stripped. We ended up having to break it and fashion a makeshift cover to keep the batteries in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for my grandkids. They like the way you learn about different things on it. They really enjoyed using the laptop and playing on it. They have learned some neat stuff from it. They enjoy it. A lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Discovery- Toy Computer Laptop is awesome. My grand babies love it and I love that they are doing something educational. The screen is bright and easy to read. The mouse and keyboard are the perfect touch to make it seem like they are on their own little computer. I like that it will use batteries so it's portable. It goes wherever we go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great starter laptop! It’s fun and educational. My child loves it. She loves the concept of having her own laptop and that makes me happy. I love that it has a wide variety of activities and it keeps her busy for a while, learning at that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I could not wait for this product to come. We were exited to try this kids lap top. After receiving I was surprised that it needed batteries. It was not very durable nor did it look as I thought it wood. More importantly there is absolutely nothing on this lap top that my son doesn’t already do using my I pad. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone as their child will outgrow fairly quickly. If you are ok with your child using your device to learn no need to purchase this . It is a waste of hard earned money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids received the Discovery - Toy Computer Laptop to try for free. I will give my review based on their reaction. My 4 years old was very happy with it because after seen his sister who's 7 use a computer every day he wanted his own computer. I don't think this is a good toy for a kid older than 5 because it is a toy after all and doesn't have the same funtions as a real laptop but it's lots of fun for my boy and he can learn from it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little laptop is phenomenal. It is packed with games and learning activities. No need to connect to the internet so you can take it anywhere. We use it in the car to keep my son occupied on longer rides. With so many choices to choose from her rarely gets bored with it. Functioning keyboard & mouse makes him feel like an adult. Great toy!
