Heavy duty machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic machine. When it says heavy duty it means heavy duty. It has 6 different stich types. You can use multiple threads or just one. It finishes edges on your hems so you don't have fabric unraveling and loose threads. That helps make the seams more durable and they hold up longer with washing, drying and wear. It has a heavy duty knife so you can use it on heavier fabrics. If you get a rip in your couch cushion it can fix it with ease. It is professional stitching from a professional quality machine.

Amazingly Easy Hems!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was super intimidating before I read the manual, but I always wanted one to make the hems on my clothes and decorations on my quilt edges. From set up to take down, it was actually much less intimidating once I figured out how everything worked. The manual walks you through putting in the thread and getting the settings adjusted. Since I was using it to hem a tulle skirt, I knew I wanted a decorative edge. It was really a smooth process from putting the tulle in, watching it hem and cut, hem and cut. I was thrilled with the turn out because it looked so professional. Trust me, I am far from a professional either. Don't let this serger intimidate you because it's easier and less scary than it looks! If you want a flawless edge with fine material or need to hem a thick pair of jeans; this is for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this serger machine. I have only ever used a regular sewing machine so I decided to try my hand at a serger machine. Let me tell you I am absolutely in love with this machine. The quality of the machine is made very good. Setting up the machine is really easy. Don’t let the multiple thread scare you because it is so easy to set up. This machine is like using a sewing machine but so much better. It can handle thicker fabric so much better than a sewing machine. I love all the thread stitches it has. I also love that it came with extra things with the machine. If you are looking to do big projects on the sewing machine this server is the right thing to use. I recommend anyone looking for a good server machine weather you are new or have used one before this is the machine to get.

High Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sewing instructor was ecstatic when she showed up for my sewing lessons and saw this. She has been sewing for well over 40 years and she explained to me how this machine is the best out there, she doesn’t trust any other brand! This was my first time using a machine that was made specifically for cuffs and hems, but I think I did an awesome job as a beginner. It has so many functions and options. It is a little tricky for a beginner, but if you watch YouTube videos, you will be able to use with ease. I believe I will have this machine for years and years to come. The quality is on unbelievable.

LOVE IT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Singer HD0450S Heavy Duty serger machine, and I am totally in love. It can be a little intimidating for a beginner with the four thread count and all the options, but it is not bad at all. The instructions walk you completely through how to set it up, and it is fairly easy to use. I love that the machine came already threaded. I was very impressed with the low noise level of it. Being able to stitch 1300 stitches a minute makes quick work of my projects, and I love that it sews thick materials so easily. You get professional results from a beginner friendly machine. I would highly recommend this to others.

Impossible to thread, zero instructions included.

Impossible to thread.... I need a PhD zero instructions other than pictures. I can't get my fingers OR tweezers in to thread nor is there enough light. WORST PURCHASE EVER. feel I threw money away. I've been sewing and used singer products for 25 plus years...

Can't recommend, especially for beginners

I am very experienced with serger sewing machine, but this is definitely not for beginners. Mine was not pre-threaded as stated, and it was difficult to thread. It is very noisy as well. I will be returning and buying one that works for me. I really hate it, because Singer was always a good name brand, but I'm not so sure anymore.
