Why did I make clothes without this for so long?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, like so many people, I’ve heard how helpful and time saving a separate serger was, but procrastinated the idea of looking into one for years. My word bubble would read something like “I have a serger function on my sewing machine already, so why again should I buy an entirely separate machine?” Or “Storing a separate machine is just a space-eating hassle, could it really be that necessary?” I’m here to tell everyone AND my younger naive self “YES YES YES IT IS!”
The difference in wear my handmade clothing pieces after washing is the first giant leap forward. No one likes putting all the effort, time and money into making that perfectly unique piece, to be sadly cutting off a million fabric threads after each wash. It’s depressing! The heavy duty singer serger has removed that completely for me!! You can actually wash an item … and just wear it without worrying how long it will last.
Next let me just say SPEED. I had no idea how much time I was wasting finishing my fabric edges until this awesomeness. Crazy fast, extremely easy to handle without it getting away from you (which would happen all the time on my regular sewing machine,) AND pair that with the fact that the stitch is infinitely stronger, makes me kick myself HARD for not buying it sooner. Does it take a hot minute to learn to thread it? Of course, it’s a super strong 4 threader! But really no more time than learning your first threading in a regular sewing machine, and it has a picture quick start guide which lays it all out with graphics and circles, so it’s pretty painless.
Don’t be like me and wait years to make quicker, better-wearing garments. Just get it, your first use will make you wonder as well how you lived without it so long!

At first I did find it a little difficult on the threading process but once I got that figured out I was good to go. I will say i completely over thought that process. Cuts great and gives you clean edges every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product this serger is great it’s easy to set up it has everything you need to get started the instructions are easy to follow . It’s made really well it has a heavy duty frame you can do 1300 stitches a minute I like how the spools are pre threaded and color coded. The built in hem plate makes it so easy to sew items. The controls are easy to set and use . The foot pedal is great and no issues with this machine at all it works like a dream it helps get projects done efficiently and makes good quality stitching when sewing I love it it’s a must have I would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid consumer I would choose the Singer brand as their reputation is one of reliability, dependability and easy to operate.
The first thing I noticed upon opening the box and removing the machine was no instruction manual, which I typically like to have in my hands, but there was a “Quick Start Guide” that helped you with the threading of the machine. With that said, there are many excellent tutorials on YouTube that helped me get started. I did have go to their website and download the manual for peace of mind that it was put together correctly.
Having never owned a serger it is definitely a good one for a beginner or a more advanced seamstress.
The machine came pre-threaded, so I was able to use the tie on method of threading to get started. I was amazed it only took about an hour to get the serger out of the box and sew my first stitches.
As expected for a heavy duty machine, it appears to be a pretty solidly. Threading was fairly easy and noise level is comparable to other sewing/serger machines.
I’m very excited to have a machine that I can use for so many different projects and that the projects will have such a professional looking finish to them.
Love the singer brand and now I can take my stitch work to another level!
