Purchased this so that I wouldn’t have to rent one from Xfinity. So far it’s good. Probably had a connection issue maybe once since I’ve had it.

I connected my modem to optimum and at first it was a littler bit slow, but I contacted netgear customer service and they walked me through the right setting. Now all my devices work fast. I love it.

Nice Modem router

Good system thats works great. Easy to set up and register through the app. The "Guest Feature" is nice and was easy to activate and change the setting as needed. The range is good and I can still get WiFi in my RV parked next to the house. Definitely recommend.

Cable good WiFi spotty

The cable works great but the WiFi can be slow. Some devices seem to have trouble finding the WiFi at times which didn’t happen with the cable company’s cable modem router. I have to change to 5G on my phone settings if it’s being too slow and/or having trouble connecting.

The modem/router has been installed for 2 weeks and the performance has been flawless, the coverage is so much better, I have been able to stop using my Wi-Fi extenders. Overall a tremendous upgrade from the hardware provided by my cable company. I would highly recommend the Netgear.
