New and faster

I was hoping for a modem and router that would get me the 200 mbps speed that I’m paying for but I’m still only getting 85 (better than the 50 I was getting with my old one). Directions were pretty clear but there always has to be one step that doesn’t go just right or doesn’t match your device and you have to struggle with it and look it up yourself. Ultimately I got it by myself. Costumer service by phone was too long to wait.

Lovin the new Modem Combo

The AC1600 (C6250) Cable Modem Router combo has been a life saver. Before when the cable would go out, I would have to unplug the router, then the cable modem. Powercycle them one at a time, waiting several minutes for each one to boot up. Not anymore, unplug one cable, wait 30 seconds and she is up and running in less than a minute. Awesome!! Sleek design , built in stand makes this a A1 Winner !!

The unit worked great for 13 months, then my WiFi slowed down tremendously. I would not purchase this again.

Worked good at first

I bought this back on 6/17/19 and it was easy to set up and worked great at first. I’ve had Comcast our to double check my speeds, they replaced the wiring out to the pole and still can’t maintain WiFi signal. I’ll have 200mbps and one second later no connection can be found. Disappointing to hear Netgear only provides a 90 day support - and if I want to use the warranty I have to pay them?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow connection and spotty reception

Have 100mbs internet, and cannot get better than around 30mbs connection. The connection also drops for no reason, even if only feet from the router.

Buy anything but this - Wish I trusted bad reviews

Frequent internet disconnections. Tried to reboot, factory reset. Nothing works.
Please buy anything except this device. I lost all hope with Netgear. This was my last Netgear device in my house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
