Strong WiFi signal

I recently installed this modem. It has a strong signal. I keep dropping internet but since it is a new Comcast installation as well, it may not be because of the modem.

Easy set up and, while not particularly small, it’s attractive enough to not be an eyesore since it needs to be kept with clear sight lines for best signal

Netgear AC Modem router

I purchased this cable modem router to replace my Comcast version which I have been renting for years. I planed to use the WiFi to stream internet TV rather than rent their boxes. However, this device did not provide a strong enough signal. In downstairs locations even email on my cell phone was low. Using my cell phone I measured 168 MBS at the router and 146 downstairs. So I returned it and purchased the AC 1900 version. The new measurements were 215 and 175. I am satisfied that I was able to get the capability I wanted.
