I bought this instead of using the one xfinity provides as that would have costed me more eventually. I was worried about it being refurbished but it’s working great no problems so far ! Would definitely order this again if needed !

The nighthawk modem/router combo meets most of my needs. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because I have over 10 devices linked and it seems to be causing intermittency, especially when most of the devices are being used. I called the technical support and they suggested I buy an ever highest end modem/router combo.

Bandwidth is low. I leave in a small apartment and will have to buy an extender.

Has some issues

Purchased this modem router combo to not rent one from internet provider. This item is rated to provide speeds up to 300 mbps. I currently have 200 mbps which worked perfectly fine on my previous modem/router. This item will randomly disconnect and I will need to troubleshoot it be restarting it in order to get the wifi up and running again. I cannot explain or find a solution as to why it randomly disconnects. My coax cable is new, plugged directly into the wall, no splitter. My apartment is fairly small so my devices should all receive signal. I don’t have more than 5 devices receiving service from this item. I have seen similar reviews from previous customers. Is there any possible explanation for this? Do I need to upgrade to a higher performance modem/router? Even though this item is rated for a higher mbps than what I am receiving from my provider.
