Great product at an affordable price

I had a Nighthawk router from Netgear before. Now, I moved to a new apartment without any modem or router, so I decided to get a modem and router combined. The Netgear AC1600 turns out to be better than I expected as it is super fast and very reliable. I thought this "combined" version would be slower than my initial Nighthawk router standalone, but it turns out the AC1600 is just as fast. My friend who moved to a new apartment also bought this AC1600 based on my recommendation.

Phenomenal wifi ranges

I live in a shared house, and the wifi that we get at the farthest part of the house is quite impressive. We're able to get both a great 2.4 GHz signal in that area, and a decent 5GHz signal as well which was not expected. We actually purchased a wifi repeater in advance, assuming the wifi would need a boost to reach farther parts of the house, but realized that we didn't actually need the wifi repeater so we will be returning the wifi repeater seeing as how we apparently don't need it. Thanks NETGEAR :)

Excellent product

I was up and running within 30 mins of receiving the product. It was easy to setup with my comcast connection. The support staff was also really helpful : when I received slow internet speed on my WIFI 2.5GHz channel, they helped me figure out that it was most likely a conflict with neighbors wireless frequencies and helped me change the channel which brought speed back to expected. The range of wifi is excellent and putting it at top floor in my 3 stories condo gives strong connection at 1st floor and garage. Really happy with this purchase.

Another Great Modem Router(C6250) from NETGEAR

The setup for this modem was very easy and straight forward process.It has great Wi-Fi range that works throughout my house with little loss of signal with it's built in router compatibility.C6250 is great for anyone. Everything depends on what you can afford and if your cable company can provide the speeds to you.Now running the 'Xfinity' Speed test I get a download speed test result of up to 64.6 Mbps using the same host 'Comcast, Miami Fl'. Why such a huge difference in download speed between OOKLA and Comcast Xfinity Speed Test result, I will leave to the experts.

Awesome product

In the beginning I wasn't so sure about spending the money but I made the sacrifice because I did not wanted to pay my Internet company rental for a modem so I made up my mind, It works perfectly and is very easy to troubleshoot if you ever have any problems the instructions in the box are like a piece of gold always keep them with you do not throw them away there was one day where I disconnected my box to plug back in and somehow my Internet password was changed I could not connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi so I went to the online page logged in and change my password very easy I recommended 100% .

Excellent Cable Modem Router

The device was very easy to set up especially paired with the Netgear genie app. Was able to setup within 5-10 mins of taking out of the package. I have been using for a little over a week now and it is matching the speeds that I am paying for with Xfinity. Got the router/modem combo to avoid monthly rental fees so it is the same price as renting after one year and then pays for itself. I got the product because it can reach high upload and download speeds and combines two pieces of hardware. This will allow it to grow and keep working as infrastructure around me improves. So far a very good buy and I am happy to have purchased the equipment.

Superb Modem/Wireless Router Combo

I was on the fence for a while whether or not the router my internet service provider supplied was giving us the max speed we are paying for. Needless to say, I am more than pleased with my purchase of the Netgear AC1600. From doorstep to connecting my iPhone, setup was a breeze. It was as simple as opening the box, pluging in the device & making a quick call to my ISP for activation.
The dual wireless frequencies are great, which allows for multiple devices (printer, speakers, etc.) to connect wirelessly to the 2.4ghz zone and computers and phones to connect to the 5.0ghz zone, providing blazing fast net speeds!
Extremely satisfied, I told my Dad to get one and he ended up purchasing the same model. I highly recommed this Cable Modem/Wireless Router to everyone. Don't pay monthly fees for a device that doesn't preform like it should'”invest in one that will work in your favor!

Great Modem Router

I recently replaced an outdated modem and router setup with the all in one Netgear ac1600. Before making the purchase, I had to constantly reset/reboot my old setup for my Comcast/infinity service. This was a constant pain for my family, especially for my son's online gaming experience. We experienced consistent difficulty with keeping our mobile phones and wireless printer connected to the network as well. After making the Netgear purchase, not only does it save space as an all in one unit, but after owning it for about a month now, I haven't had to reboot it at all. It has performed flawlessly. I have 2 mobile devices, tablet, wireless printer, desktop PC, laptop, Roku, smart TV, and a Xbox One all connected to the Netgear ac1600. Not one single issue. Everything performs as expected, and the mobile app is an excellent feature that helps you manage your network. I have no problems recommending this modem/router.
