Good so Far

We have only had our modem running for a few days, but so far so good. And I know it is not an important aspect, but it looks so much nicer then our old one. The only thing I would change are the directions in the manual. I did not realize I had to call my cable company to get them to help me set it up. It might have just been me, but I did not find the directions clear on this point.

Simple yet powerful. Sleek yet sharp. Futuristic yet... Modern! This AC1600 WiFi Modem is the bomb. Instructions were a breeze and the installation was very simple. The app that helps you manage your router is also just as simple to navigate. I have a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment (about 800 square feet). It works perfectly for what have and is absolutely perfect for me needs. Thank you NETGEAR!

Great upgrade from n300 router modem combo

Upgraded to this modem/router combo from a Motorola SurfBoard. The surfboard just didn't cut it for online gaming while the rest of my family watched netflix and cruised the internet. We switched to this Ac1600 and can't believe the difference in speed, performance and there is no lag. This is the Best Buy I've made in years, my wife and I are very impressed and it fits nicely behind my flat panel tv.

Reliability and Affordable

I am a long time NETGEAR customer and when I needed to get a new modem, I purchased the AC1600 due to the need to limit screen times for my daughters. It does an excellent job in keeping me informed of what is going on with my home network, and allows me to put restictions into play on the fly, even when I am not at home. I would recommend Netgear to anyone looking for reliability at an affordable price range

Easy install

I was very skeptical about this because of the price. I've had a modem and router unit before that didn't work well, but this is great! The install is easy and it works great! I have a 1600sqft apartment and it is powerful enough to where I have great signal in every Inch of the apartment! Highly recommend if you're on a budget and need to save the cable provider's rental price for the modem and router!

Better than expected

Purchased this router to replace router from internet company. It has exceeded my expectations! With two smart TVs streaming at same time, we have absolutely no loading that we have had in the past. We have struggled getting tv loading in the past, those struggles are over with this router. Instead of upgrading speed and paying more to internet, we were able to save money by returning modem and router back to them.

Wonderful surprise

I didn't know what to expect when I purchased my modem router. I wanted to be free of my cable/internet providers equipment as its very expensive. Somehow they try to convince you that most modem routers won't work as efficiently as there's. With some research and reading reviews from other buyers my purchase was spot on. It's also dual band and I haven't had any issues with it at all! I would definitely recommend.

Great Modem/Router combo

I was making monthly payments on a modem from my provider and it was a really old modem. It started giving us trouble so I replaced it and my router with this puppy. It sends wifi out much further than our old router. Setup was super simple and fast. I'd already been using the Genie app with our old router and we love that app as well. Now we're saving money every month by not paying for the modem and getting much better wifi throughout the house. Thanks Netgear!
