This wi-fi cable modem / router is blazing fast, super easy to work with and install. I now realize my old unit was a piece of stone age equipment that definitely needed to be retired. Get yours based on the size of your home (that's what the number is an estimate of). It works perfectly for what I have.

Easy set up

This two in one modem router was a breeze to set up. The included instructions did not leave you wondering if everything was executed correctly. Additionally the device would have been just as easy to set up without instructions. It works like a charm and now I don't have to pay equipment rental fees anymore!

These powerline adapters are wonderful! My husband and I love that we can have secure, wired access anywhere in our house just by plugging in the adapters. We were sceptical at first because they seemed too good to be true, but they've worked perfectly since the day we plugged them in. We couldn't be happier with them.

So easy!

I needed a modem router to be able to hook up my own cable and I've never done this before. A store employee recommended this modem and said it was pretty easy to set up. She wasn't lying. It was super easy! And I haven't had any issues with it at all. I'm extremely happy with this and would recommend it to anyone.

Best decision made

I used to rent a modem from my isp and use a separate router. My service allows up to 100mbps but I never exceeded speed over 50 mbps with my old modem and router. Now I get up to 110 mbps with the 5G channel and constantly above 50 mbps with 2G channel with just one device and no more monthly equipment rental from my isp.

So far, works great

Replaced a Netgear AC1750 Modem Router which had reached the end of it's useful life. Although this is a smaller unit, it does everything the old did and does it well. My needs are pretty minimal. I do not game and only stream a movie or sporting event every so often. Rest of the time, I connect for news and reading purposes.

Cable modem review

Modem is a couple years old and still runs great. Its wifi signal and connectivity is strong and never cuts out. Only problem ive had is the netgear genie messes with the wifi connection when ever you try to do a speed test or change some settings. Other then that the netgear genie is great too. Well put together and easy to use.

Excellent product, this is the second time I bought one of this and I am extremely happy with the signal, connectivity and safety of the device. The price is great and I recommend adding the Netgear technical service as my previous one had an unfortunate power outage issue. 100% recommendable considering the cost of the equipment.
