Easy Set Up—Works Good

Set up was quite easy with a little help from a pleasant Netgear representative. I immediately noticed a difference in speed over my old router. Would purchase Netgear again.

My husband and I bought this router modem for our first home and when the tech came to set up the internet he told us it was not working. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with Netgear support we were still no closer to having it fixed. Finally spoke with the internet company again and got it set up (an entire afternoon later) and woke up the next morning to no internet as the modem stopped working and we were back go square one. Finally ended up returning it and buying an Arris and the internet has worked since.

Somehow still working

Used this router for a year then it went unused for two years and after plugging it back in it still works as new.

Simple enough set up and app usage to control the device. It’s super speedy over the “5G” channel if you’re close enough to the router.

This had such an easy set up to replace my old router! Love the app that it comes with as well. SO worth it to not have to pay to rent a modem/router :)
